I walk into the Judgement Hall, taking a quick glance at Sans before going over to save, and he just sits there, waiting for me to walk up to him. Beginning to speak as I finally did.

"1,179,126... with that many resets from you alone, you were bound to break the world eventually. but this, gaining the power of SOUL absorption, to take the abilities of monsters, even ones that aren't boss monsters, rewriting the code of this world in such a way, that wasn't what i was expecting from it." I looked at him closely, I wasn't really sure if he wanted to talk, or just trick me, but I decided to talk, for now.

"1,179,126. Not exactly my favorite number, but a good one to leave it off to, don't you think?" He knew what I was talking about, he's too smart to not have already figured it out.

"so this is it, huh? the last timeline." He was staring at the floor, distracted.

"What's the matter, Sans? Don't want our little rivalry to end so SOON!" I shot up a bone from behind him, and... it hit him.

He didn't even try to dodge it, the bone disappeared, and he was just standing there, still staring at the ground. "Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Muffet, Mettaton, and all of the monsters in between that you've mercilessly slaughtered, they aren't coming back. he he... then for all of the people that you've killed time and time again, the ones who aren't coming back, and the rest who still have a chance... i will not let you take their lives away for the last time." Then he looked up at me, with a face I've never seen before. "when i was trying to stop Frisk from giving up her SOUL and destroying any chances of our happy ending, it was tense, but i knew they would all come back eventually... but now they're never coming back thanks to you, so let's see what you can do when i'm giving it my all."

I start to panic a little, I try to run back to the save point, but a wall of bones block my path. I turn around to see him standing there. He lifts his left hand, with his palm facing me as hundreds, maybe thousands of bones materialize out of thin air and start to spin around in place, all pointing towards me. But I'm not going to go down like that; I summon hundreds of spears, trying to get them to face the bones' direction.

"here we go." He clenched his hand into a fist, and all of the bones started spinning faster, then blew past with a loud boom, headed straight for me. I throw all of my spears at them, but it's too much to control at once, some of the spears miss, and I wasn't fast enough to dodge all the bones that got through.

They only hurt a little bit now, but even though they pass right through me I lose my balance from seeing all of them hit me at once. I fall to the ground, looking up at Sans to see his hand up in the air again, and barely have enough time to jump up enough to not get impaled. But I was able to pull my own bone out from under me as I was in the air to stop me from falling back down into the bones. "Two can play at this game, Sans!" I yell, getting up, throwing my hands into the air, about to shoot up enough bones to cover the other half of the room, but Sans barely escapes, running behind a pillar, teleporting somewhere.

I hear a Gaster Blaster charging behind me, so I turn my SOUL blue and launch myself up to the ceiling, giving me enough time to see that the Gaster Blaster wasn't pointed where I was, but up to right where I was going, I didn't have enough time to stop it, and took the full damage of the Blaster. I turned my SOUL back to normal and started to fall back down. As I did, I saw Sans, he teleported to the other side of the room near where I came in.

He was standing there looking right at me, holding his left hand up in the shape of a gun. Then he shot it, and right then I heard a Blaster charging up right under me, facing up while I was falling. I launch a big bone out of the ground at about a 70 degree angle, right as it got to me I tried to jump off of it getting out of the Gaster Blasters way, but right when I started to jump off of it, I hit another blaster pointed away, stopping my momentum and putting me right back in the path of the Blaster under me, making me take another blast head-on.

I drop down to the ground, get right back up and start shooting Sans with all I've got, I turn him purple, restricting his movements as I start trying to shoot him with spears, fireballs, and bones, but nothing worked; he dodged them all without a problem. He's faster. I run in with my knife and try to hit him, but as always, I can't, he just keeps dodging while throwing barrage after barrage of bones and Gaster Blasters, barely able to hurt me, but it starts to add up, and the same routine keeps on going. I'm starting to run low on my magical potential, but Sans still shows no sign of stopping, if anything he's sped up his attacks even more.

He escapes behind one of the pillars again, ending up on the other side of the room, and he stood there. My breathing has slowed down throughout the battle, and I've taken quite a beating as well, but Sans still doesn't look like he's tired at all. But then, why did he stop?

"Why'd you just stop, we're not done here. You still need to die, and I still need to win to become even stronger than before." He still doesn't attack, just stands there for a few seconds before speaking.

"and you think i'm just going to stand here and let that happen?" Did he just stop the fight to lecture me!

"It's not like you haven't been doing that since the beginning. We both know I'm never going to give up, and now I don't expect you to so easily. But I will win, and I will make you hurt in the process!" He thinks just because he refused death once, he'll stand any more of a chance against me.

"you will never be able to kill me unless i give you the right to do so, kid. and i reject your offer," he countered. And was it just me or did his smile just widen?

"I do not need your permission." He says nothing in response. We stay standing as I try to catch my breath further, getting in a fighting stance.

I barely have time to react as he just charged me right away with amazing speed. It caught me off guard and I almost lost my balance, but I was able to catch myself just in time to dodge another storm of bones. I was able to stop for a second and start charging him, I was not going to let him turn the tables that easily.

I was chasing him down the corridor, swinging my knife at him as quick as I could, while trying to dodge all of the attacks he was sending, but I was going all out on him, letting myself get pretty beat up in the process, but I kept it up, we were almost at the end of the corridor, I charged up a big ball of condensed fire and threw it in front of me at Sans, making him strafe right into the wall in between two pillars. He shot a Gaster Blaster in between us to keep us apart, but I had him.

I charge up another ball of fire with both of my hands, taking the last chunk of my magic to create it, and jumped through the Blaster's fire, taking even more damage, but it's all over. As I jump through the Blaster's fire with my hands above my head holding the ball of condensed fire, seeing Sans' face right before I threw it at him with a giant explosion, almost killing me outright when I'm flung across the room and hit the wall.

I start to get up, not knowing exactly how long I was knocked out for. I can't hear anything but the clock striking noon, sounding like it's faded, far off in the distance. I look at the other side of the room, or lack thereof, as there was a giant hole where Sans was, and his SOUL just hovering in the air.

I had almost nothing left in me, I was able to crawl to the save point. I look around, seeing the devastation, with bones, scorch marks, and holes where Gaster Blasters were fired, and almost forgot about the SOUL. I run and pick it up after making another bone bridge, and was blown away with the sheer power. Not counting his abilities, his magical potential alone was stunning, physical power, obviously I didn't get much of an upgrade there. But I won, My Level Of ViolencE was finally back to its peak. I take a minute to gather myself, about to go to the next chapter of my adventure, until I hear a familiar voice.

"so you killed me, now what?"
