False Hopes & Dying Dreams

I don't need anything before the hotel, so I walk directly to it, but stop and go to the right of the hotel for the 5 gold, but after I get it I notice something: The Empty Gun wasn't there.

It was just gone, it hasn't been in any other place, ever, but now it's gone. I didn't pay much mind for it, it's empty, and even if anyone could find any bullets for it, they would never be enough with the power I have, so I continue onward into MTT Hotel, save, and go straight to the bridge leading to the Core, giving a glare to Burger Pants on the way, though he doesn't care, and doesn't even look back at me.

I immediately go into the elevator and go up to the room before Mettaton, save again, and walk in. I don't even want to give him any more time alive than I have to.

"MY, MY. SO YOU'VE FINALLY ARRIVED. AFTER OUR FIRST MEETING, I REALIZED... SOMETHING GHASTLY. YOU'RE NOT JUST A THREAT TO MONSTERS... BUT TO HUMANITY, AS WELL. OH MY. THAT'S AN ISSUE. YOU SEE, I CAN'T BE A STAR WITHOUT AN AUDIENCE. AND BESIDES... THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE... I WANT TO PROTECT."

I walk a few steps forward to trigger the rest of his dialog for the fight to occur a little faster. "AH HA HA. EAGER, AS ALWAYS, EH? BUT DON'T TOUCH THAT DIAL. THERE'S SOMETHING YOU HAVEN'T ACCOUNTED FOR. AS ANY TRUE FAN WOULD KNOW, I WAS FIRST CREATED AS A HUMAN ERADICATION ROBOT. IT WAS ONLY AFTER BECOMING A STAR THAT I WAS GIVEN A MORE... PHOTOGENIC BODY. HOWEVER. THOSE ORIGINAL FUNCTIONS HAVE NEVER BEEN FULLY REMOVED... COME ANY CLOSER, AND I'LL BE FORCED TO SHOW YOU... MY TRUE FORM!"

I walk forwards again to help speed up the process. "FINE THEN. RRRRREADY? IIIIIIIT'S SHOWTIME!!!"

I don't give him any time, I start shooting fire and jumping at him, but he's not nearly as fast as he would have to be to stand any sort of chance against the likes of me. I ducked under his right arm facing forward, shooting a blast right over me as I grab the Burnt Pan with both of my hands, turning it sideways, and waiting for him to look down at me as I slam the side and rim of the pan into Mettaton NEO's chest, hearing the metal crunch and bend by the pan.

I pulled the pan out, and stepped back as Mettaton looked at me with a smile. "GH... GUESS YOU DON'T WANT TO JOIN MY FAN CLUB...?" Then exploded, knocking me back almost out of the room. But with my head ringing, and only scratches left on my now more strengthened body, I walk up to the SOUL, and added it to my expanding collection. My body continues to get stronger, and my magical potential increased more than I thought Mettaton was capable of. But now it's all mine.

Then I continue, stepping over piles of scrap left from the explosion, and on to my next victim: Sans.

I go through the brightly lit hallway, and into the elevator, waiting for it to get to the top, and finally, it does. I walk out, save, and continue onto the long walk through to get to my house. I go straight to my room and seeing the presents laying there, as they always are, but that means Azriel must not be far, I don't know if he's going to still try to be friends again, or pulling me into a false sense of security. I took off the cowboy hat, put on the locket, and set down the Burnt Pan to get my knife, "About time."

Then I went to get the kitchen key, and he did pop up, right before the kitchen, as he always did. "Howdy, Chara! You finally made it home. Remember when we used to play here? Hee hee hee... Boy! Today's gonna be just as fun." With that, he sunk into the ground. So then I started going towards the hallway for the second key but right before I got out of the living room, I was stopped by Azriel again. "I remember when I first woke up here. In the garden. I was so scared. I couldn't feel my arms or my legs... My entire body had turned into a flower! 'Mom! Dad! Somebody help me!' I called out. But nobody came." I don't know why he insists on telling me this knowing everything, but I don't think trying to stop him will work, and he dodges my attacks with ease, but it's getting annoying.

I went and got the key out of the kitchen, and he popped up again, but I didn't let him start to speak. "Azriel, I've already heard this from you hundreds upon hundreds of times, and I don't want a partner, I have the power to load and save. I don't need you, and never will." I didn't know what he was up to, but I wasn't going to let him live long enough for me to find out. I shot a few spears right at him, but he didn't flinch, or even bat an eye, just dodged it like it was any other attack.

He was about to sink into the ground before I shot up a blue bone through him. "You're not going anywhere, you are going to sit right there, fight me, and die like all of the others." But he just moved through it, barely taking off any of his health.

"Oh, I'm not gonna fight you yet, Chara. I'll wait my turn, and trust me, I'll make it worth the wait." Saying it with that evil grin of his, "And if you want to trap me, try using a harder hitting attack next time. Papyrus was never that good of a damage dealer." Then he disappeared into the ground before I could counter.

I went on to get the last key from the little desk in front of Toriel and Asgore's room, I unlocked the chain and went down the stairs, and down the long path to the Judgement Hall. I'm coming for you smiley trashbag, just you wait.
