"MEH FREAKING HOT CHOCCIE!! GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE!!!!" Avril snatches the hot chocolate from my hands.
"Be careful, Avril, it's really--"
"HOT! HOT HOT HOT!!" Avril cries.
"HAHA! Your face, Avril, your face!" giggles Adria and Avril glares at her.
Chris and I sigh.
"Is it okay if I go out for a sec?" I ask him.
"But we've just been-"
"Thanks!" I quickly scramble out of the door.
I need to clear my mind. Like, right now.
Penny. Alex. Sam. The kid on the street. It's all slowly starting to make some weird kind of sense.
Penny Flynn is reported Missing!
Oh my God. The news.
Am I Penny?
Chris's PoV
"Daddy, where are you going?" Abigail pulls my sleeve. "Can we come with?"
"No way, kid. Now stay here. Just don't tell anyone where I'm going, alright?" I snap. Kids these days.
I go out the door and try to sense we're Penny could of gone to. But not until I see a familiar face.
I freeze. Oh god. Not him.
"Hey there Chris," snaps Noah angrily. I take a step back.
"Hey, Noah.." I say nervously.
"How's Alyssa?"
My head snaps up to look at him. "How did you know?"
He laughs harshly. "Please. You called Penny Alyssa in front of Cam. Did you really think she didn't tell me?"
"I.. Um... Listen, it's nothing personal.."
"You have a bad reputation here." Noah steps closer to me, causing me to fa to the ground. "You better watch it with my girl."
I can't help but laugh at this. "Your girl? Dude, she's over you."
"Shut. The. Hell. Up." Noah says through gritted teeth.
He's going to fight me.
"... Chris? What's going on?"
But the person who I wanted to see the least comes in.
Penny.
