Chapter 11: The Crash

                                                                         Natsu's P.O.V.

I left Lucy's house after Jude saw us kiss. (More like Jude kicked me out) I just smiled like an idiot as I walked out of the house. "Ok, see you later Mr. Heartfilia!" I shouted as I walked down the steps at a leisurely pace. "Bye Dragneel." he replied sternly as he slammed the door. I flinched a little at the sound. I was walking to Happy's school to pick him up from tutoring.

When I got there, I waited outside the front doors, sitting on a bench. I wasn't allowed to go inside while the tutoring session was....well, in session. I pulled out my phone and got a text from Lucy. Sorry about my dad. I immediately texted back. Hey, we all had/have parents, right? I replied. I started to think about my parents after that text.

I could feel the cold tears welling up. I took a deep breath and looked up at the sky, as if looking at my parents. But no matter how hard I tried to stop the tears, they traveled down my cheeks anyway. Then I heard the doors open and I looked over to see Happy. I wiped away my tears so he wouldn't see them. 

"Ready?" I asked. Happy shook his head and looked up at me. "I wanna meet your girlfriend first." he said. That shocked me. I widened my eyes and just stared at him. I broke up with Lisanna, and Lucy and I aren't officially dating, so I'm currently single. I thought. "I don't have a girlfriend, Happy." I replied. "Yes you do. I was talking to Carla outside before going to my tutoring session. I saw you walking with a blonde girl." my twelve-year-old brother replied.

"She's not my girlfriend." I said. "Yet." I added under my breath. "What?" Happy asked. He heard me, but he didn't hear what I said. "Nothing." I said, surprisingly without stuttering. "Sure." Happy replied sarcastically as we arrived at the front door of our house.

                                                                   Lucy's P.O.V.

After my father made Natsu leave, I texted him to apologize, but my father took my phone away and began a lecture about how he told me not to kiss boys until I'm eighteen. It was my first kiss, but the lecture got pretty annoying pretty fast. I just tuned him out until I knew he was done. "Got it?" he asked. I looked him straight in the eye and nodded.

When he finally gave my phone back, I called Natsu. He answered on the second ring. "Hey Luce." he greeted. "Hey Natsu." I replied. "My father gave me a lecture about how I should never kiss a boy until I'm eighteen. But I can still teach you how to ride a horse next week." I said. "I'm sorry about the lecture. It's kinda dumb. But I'm looking forward to learning." Natsu replied. After he said that, I heard the voice of a younger boy in the background, but I couldn't hear what he said. 

"What Happy?...Why?" Natsu asked, talking to Happy. "Fine." Natsu said. "Luce, do you want to meet me at the park? My brother insists on meeting you. I don't know why." Natsu said. "Sure." I replied. "K, see you there." he said. "Bye." I replied as I hung up. I got up and put my jacket and shoes on and hopped down the stairs. "Dad, I'm going to grab a coffee with Levy." I said. "Ok, be back by nine." Father replied. I nodded as I ran out the door. I can't believe he bought that. I thought as I hopped into the truck and drove to the park. 

                                                              Natsu's P.O.V.

"Why do you even want to meet her Happy?" I asked as we stepped out the door. "I just wanna meet your girlfriend." Happy replied. "She is NOT my girlfriend." I replied. "Yeah, let's go with that." Happy replied sarcastically. I rolled my eyes as I put on my helmet and Happy put his on. I double checked the straps on both of ours and we both got onto my motorcycle and drove off. 

Something happened after that. I vaguely remember it, but I'll say as much as I remember. We were going across an intersection because we had a green light. But I saw bright headlights coming toward me and I looked up to see someone driving a car, texting and driving. Coming straight toward us. There was nothing I could do. I realized the my brakes broke, so I couldn't do anything. 

"Happy, I'm sorry." I said. "For what?" he asked. I took a deep breath and let go of the motorcycle it was still going, still balancing. I held Happy safely in my hold and jumped off of the motorcycle. I turned my back to the car so Happy would be safe. The next thing I knew, everything turned black. But I heard Happy's sobs, I heard people shout, I heard sirens, and I heard footsteps running toward me.

Heyo! Sorry about him getting hurt....but it adds a little spice to the story, right? Aaaaaannnnnyyyyywwwwwaaaayyyysss I hope you like this story so far! PEACE!
