Heroes Legion Mansion Common Room: February 20th, 2014: 4:45 PM
In the common room, glued to the big screen TV that they had in the middle of that room.
The Heroes Legion were very concerned with what was going on right at this very moment outside of the city, in Washington DC to be exact.
It had been a very busy 15 hours since their defeat of Legion last night.
The Last Resort Squad had taken the power thief to Ryker's "Special Cases" wing, fitted with a power negation collar and placed within a special cell designed to hold the Dark Elite...if they had ever managed to capture the entirety of the supervillain team.
He also had been fitted with a typed of "cuff-glove" over his hands to keep him from using his Power Absorption power on anyone ever again, hopefully.
M-Leader had also used his "Mind wipe" ability to erase Legion's memories or any information from his brain that pertained to the location of the Heroes Legion's place of living so that he wouldn't be able to tell anyone where the Mansion was before allowing Legion to be incarcerated.
Legions three hour paralysis due to having his stolen powers forcibly stolen back from him made all of that Childs play to do for M-Leader and the Last Resort Squad.
However...regardless of the collar and the Cuff-Gloves, Legion would be have to be kept under extra surveillance due to his ability to siphon the powers from anyone who had superpowers that he touched, and being in the middle of a supervillain jail would be like being in the middle of a superpower buffet line.
It was probably best if he wasn't kept locked up with all of these superhuman criminals, but right now they and S.L.E.E.T didn't have anywhere else to place Metahuman criminals like him...so there he would stay for now until either the reform program succeeded or they found a way to permanently neutralise his powers.
Especially since he had about 90% of The Dark Elite's powers still contained within his M-Genes.
But that was the least of the Heroes Legion's worries right now.
Their biggest worries were regarding what was going on in Washington right now, they were watching a News Story regarding a press conference on the capitol buildings front steps in Washington.
Thanks to Legion's actions the country and the world knew that there was more than ONE superhuman out there, and not all of them would be heroic like "Legion" had made them all think he was.
The City of New York was recovering from the shock off last night upon getting confirmation from the hostages that Legion had taken as part of his plan to fake a superhuman fight with his "Arch-Nemesis" in Time Square...that the much debated "Vigilantes Of New York" were in fact real, they had saved them...and they appeared to have supernatural powers of their own.
In fact despite the damage done to Times Square, and the fact that they can't condone vigilantism....they were actually quite grateful that the mysterious vigilantes had turned up to save them from that "Legion" nutcase.
Beatrice Fuller hadn't said otherwise about this whole thing, but the Heroes Legion would bet their bottom dollars that she would come up with something soon.
Unless of course, maybe the whole "almost killed because of a lie she told on the news" thing that had caused the confrontation last night might have actually taught her a lesson and gained some humility due to the consequences of her hubris.....Nah!
