TWO DAYS LATER....

Channel 5 News Building, Manhattan/New York City: February 6th, 2014: 11:45 AM

It had been two days since the Hoover Dam AND the Masquerading cover-up of Metahumans had been shattered completely.

Now the world knew about people with supernatural Abilities, or at least...they knew about one of them.

The media had been foaming at the mouth these past two days to get whatever they could on the "superhero" who called himself Legion.

He had become quite the overnight sensation across the country.

Hell, not even that.

Now they whole entire world knew that there was an "actual superhuman hero" among them.

The whole thing had exploded into a rise of media frenzy, interview requests and people trying to catch sight of the "worlds first superhuman" as the media had dubbed him.

It reminded Stephanie of tales of the media frenzy of the "Beatles" band her mother had told her about back in the early 1960's.

The term for the fan frenzy back then was called "Beatle Mania".

Now it seemed history was repeating itself.

Now the whole country was going "Legion-mania" crazy!

She feared what would happen when the frenzy ended, or what this Legion guy would do when it did.

Her boss, Jason H. Harris had been sending her and other reporters out on the street to try and get some information on this "Superhero" as the media was calling him.

Compared to what could have happened when the secret of people possessing superpowers being revealed to be actually possible getting out there and becoming public knowledge this wasn't as bad as it could have been so far , but conversely... Stephanie just couldn't see that this was an improvement on how the media and the public could have reacted.

Not when the sole focus of Metahumans was now placed on a figure she knew was NOT the shining example that the media had been fooled into believing he was.

On a side note as a result of his revealing himself to the world at large and as an attempt to keep his image as a hero solid, Legion had been keeping himself quite busy AND the media equally as busy following his "exploits" around as his popularity phenomenally rose up through the roof during the past two days.

Ever since the Hoover Dam disaster he had been seen here in New York, doing various heroic acts.

From low level things like rescuing kittens from trees and cleaning up Central Parks occasional trashy areas, to the higher level things like keeping suicidal people from jumping off of buildings or rescuing people from a couple building fires that had occurred in the city these past two days.

From the regular ignorant person on the streets point of view, this was the work of an actual superhero at work.

But Stephanie Walker knew better, she knew that this "Superhero" wasn't what he appeared to be.

After making sure that her family members were settled down and on their way safely back to the areas of the country they had flown or drove from to attend this wedding between her nephew and his new wife, she flew back to New York by way of the Heroes Legion's Night Hawk plane.
