Everyday was the same for Ivory, lessons of being a queen from her mother- punishing those who rebelled against their rule and wondering when those five kids and Aslan would come along to fight her and her mother. Everyday was the same boring and sad thing, everyday Ivory grew guilty for what she had done to innocent people and she realized that this was the reason for people rebelling against her mother being the queen.

She was a cruel ruler and Ivory learned this everyday. She had grown up looking up to her mother, her mother was of course her hero but everyday as she grew she learned that her mother was no hero and that there was nothing that she could to stop her.

Yet, there was a part of Ivory that wanted to make her mom proud, the part that wanted to take down those five children and Aslan. She wanted to make her mom happy by getting rid of those who wanted to take her throne. Ivory was conflicted, what was the right thing for her to do? To help her mother? Or to be kind and let the others take her throne, let people who would be kinder to the Narnian's take place on the throne.

Ivory knew that she would one day be queen, but she wanted to be a good queen unlike her mother. Still, Ivory believed in the saying the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and what if she was destined to be as bad a queen as her mother? That was something that scared Ivory more than anything.

Then one day, Ivory realized she was doing everything her mother had taught her. She was just like her mother, she was becoming what she feared. Everytime she turned someone to stone, everytime she yelled at one of the wolfs and hit one of the dwarfs her eyes washed over with guilt at the realization that it was something her mother would do.

After Ivory had finished with all her duties of the day she would go up to her room, lock the doors and shut the curtains before cuddling up in her warm blanket. She would try to fall asleep, but all the events of the day would cross her mind and she would start to cry.

Ivory cried for her mother, she cried for the Narnian's and most of all she cried for herself and what she was afraid she was becoming. In the morning Ivory would wake up and she would do everything all over again.

"You!" Jadis called out pointing at a dwarf with her long wand. "Prepare the deer, and get Ivory. It is time to put her training to action." The head dwarf that always stood by Jadis bowed his head and turned to get the young princess and prepare the sleigh. When Ivory walked outside she was met with the cold winter air hitting her ski, though it had no bother to her she still wore a thick fur cloak similar to that of her mothers. "Quick, get on the sleigh Ivory we're looking for those who dare defy us."

On the other side of the woods was Edmund Pevensie who had been looking for his younger sister Lucy Pevensie. She had been the first to enter Narnia, and now Edmund had followed her in. Though, to be completely honest Edmund was beginning to think this was all a dream. At least, he hoped it was all a dream or he would have to admit he was wrong.

Edmund walked around the woods calling out his sister's name as he pulled his blue robe closer to his chest. He walked further into the woods sulking about his younger sister and where she might be. From a distance he heard what sounded like bells, jingling lightly. Edmund stopped walking and listened closer to the sound of the bells growing louder and louder.

Edmund quickly hid behind a tree his head peeking out from behind the tree. From behind the trees came in view a pack of deer that were pulling a sleigh that seemed to hold two people while a dwarf used a whip to keep the deer moving faster.

The two people sat in the sleigh came closer into view and now Edmund was able to see that it was a woman and a girl. The woman was taller than any other Edmund had ever seen, she was pale her skin almost as white as the snow which caused her blue eyes to pop. Her hair was white than her skin, sticking up behind her as it were frozen to stand. She wore a crown on her head as clear as ice pointed up like icicles.

The girl beside her was smaller, probably about two or three inches taller than Edmund. She had pale skin as well but every now and then it seemed to glow gold and vibrant like the orange wings of a butterfly. She had bright blue eyes darker in shade that that of the woman beside her and though she had messy hair that let down past her shoulders she had braids in her hair coming down the front in thick and messy fashion. Unlike the woman she had no crown, but she did wear a coat similar to hers in the form a cloak.

"Stop!" The lady called out and the dwarf pulled the sleight to a stop. Apparently, Edmund hadn't been so great at hiding as the woman and the girl both turned to look at him, their features clear of any expression. "And what, pray, are you?" Jadis asked the boy. Edmund nervously came out from behind the tree.

"I'm-I'm- my name's Edmund," he said nervously as he looked from the lady to the girl and to the dwarf. He looked back to the girl his cheeks tinting pink and he hoped that they would all think that it had to do with the cold winter air.

"Is that how you address the Queen?" Jadis asked in a stern voice that caused Edmund to grow even more nervous as he tore his gaze from the girl before him.

"I beg your pardon, your Majesty, I didn't know." Edmund said in a shaky voice.

"How could you possibly not know the Queen of Narnia?" Ivory asked letting out a sarcastic laugh.

"He shall know us better hereafter." Jadis said laughing along with her daughter. "But I repeat- what are you?"
