Alexander and Christopher Go to Daycare

It has been two months since they moved into this wonderful and gigantic house. Ricardo was going to work as usual. Cassandra would take Christopher and Alexander on walks around the neighborhood, read them stories, play with them, and teach Alexander. However, she wanted to get back to going to school, because she wanted to find a job. She decided to enroll Alexander and Christopher to the daycare down the street from their house. It was a nice daycare. One day as Cassandra walked with Christopher and Alexander she decided to stop by the daycare. Alexander was so excited when they walked through the door. The woman at the front said that she would give them a tour of the center. The woman was the office assistant for the director of the daycare. Cassandra picked Christopher up out of the stroller and held onto Alexander's hand, and the woman showed them around. She should them that there was a separate kitchen area so that the children did not eat in the classrooms, they went to all the different classrooms that they offered, and they explored the playground out back. Cassandra was so excited because the daycare was so clean, the teachers looked like they knew what they were doing, and the atmosphere seemed homely. The woman gave her two enrollment packets to fill out for the boys, and Cassandra knew this was going to be good for them. She decided to talk to Ricardo about it when he arrived home from work. As they walked home, Alexander was still talking about the children in the daycare, and how much fun it would be to go. She assured him that she would talk to Ricardo about them going there. As they arrived home, Alexander went to the bathroom to wash his hands, and Cassandra put Christopher in his swing, so that she can go make lunch for them. Alexander loved his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, so that is what she made. She also made some green beans, and put some applesauce in a bowl for him. After they ate lunch Alexander went to his room to take a nap. As Alexander slept she feed Christopher. She was still breast feeding him, but she knew if she wanted to put him in daycare that he would have to be drinking a bottle now. So, after Alexander woke up from his nap she decided to head to the store for some groceries, and she needed to get some bottles for Christopher. They store was always a challenging effort as Alexander always wanted something, and Christopher wouldn't keep still, because of this she decided to let Alexander bring some toys along to play in the cart. That way he would be occupied, and she would only need to worry about Christopher fidgeting about. They were finally done in the store, so she went to the checkout line, and she ran into Alex. He was there picking up groceries as well. Alexander was so happy to see his dad. Alex had the day off from work, and he was heading to see Alexander later, so Cassandra decided to let Alexander take him. He promised to bring him back before dinner time. As they both finished checking out in the line Alex helped Cassandra to the car, and helped her put the groceries in. She had dropped her keys on the ground, and when they both bent down to pick it up they bump their heads together. As they were getting up Alex kissed her. As to her surprise she kissed him back, but then she realized what she was doing and she pulled back. Alexander started to scream, "Daddy kiss mommy." Alex started to apologize to Cassandra. Cassandra hadn't had any feelings for Alex after Ricardo had hit her, but that kissed brought the feelings back. Alex again apologized and him and Alexander left. On the car ride home Cassandra was still thinking about the kiss, and the way she felt when he kissed her. All those feelings that she had for him when they were younger came flooding back, but she knew that she couldn't do that. She was in love with Ricardo after all. When she got home Christopher was sleeping so she put him down in his crib and went to retrieve the groceries from the car. After putting away the groceries she went to her bedroom and took a nap. It was not a long nap though as Christopher started to cry.

After a couple of hours Ricardo was home from work. Cassandra didn't know if she should tell Ricardo about the kiss or not, so she just decided to not tell him. After all she was not in the mood for Ricardo's temper again, and he did not like Alex at all. Ricardo came to Christopher's room, because Cassandra had been in there rocking him on the rocking chair. He gave her a kiss and picked up Christopher. Cassandra loved seeing them together, as Ricardo was such a great dad. Ricardo was so in love with his son, and he showed it every day. In the morning, Cassandra was not able to take a shower, so she decided to take one now that Ricardo had gotten home, and he can watch Christopher. She always took a shower at night after the children were asleep, but her and Ricardo had so much fun last night she fell right to sleep. She was in the shower for about thirty-minutes when she got out she could hear yelling and screaming coming from downstairs. She rushed to get her clothes on and to see what all the screaming was about. Ricardo was standing in the living room with Alexander and Alex. This had not happened before, because Alex had always dropped Alexander off before Ricardo got home, and she knew that this was not going to be good. "Alexander please go to your room." After Alexander left she proceeded to ask the guys what was going on. Then Ricardo started screaming and shouting at her. He was screaming and yelling so loud, that she could not understand a word that he was saying. So, she screamed for him to calm down. "What the hell are you doing kissing Alex?" She looked over to Alex with a puzzled look on her face. All she was thinking was, why the hell did Alex tell him. Alex could see the look in her eyes, and he blurted out that he didn't tell him Alexander did. She didn't know what to believe, but she knew that Alexander was there when they kissed, and she remembered what he had said when she pulled away. "I didn't kiss him he kissed me." Ricardo was furious he left the house and slammed the door. Alex apologized again, and left. Cassandra was shocked at the events that just took place, but she had to pull herself together and go check on Alexander. When she entered his room, he was crying. She sat down on the bed next to him, comforted him, and told him that it was not his fault, and everything would be okay. What she didn't know it was not going to be okay. She told him to stop crying and come and help her with dinner.
