            *Month later*
    "Mum I'm alright I feel ok no need to worry please" I told my mum but she wouldnt listen. After seen my behavior lately, she felt I needed to see a doctor.... if there's anything I hate the most...
"No Mona we must see the doctor today no more excuses I know there's something wrong its either i call them ot we go to them but i wont take this risk " she Insisted "but mum. ..." ".... No but's Mona get ready and we're going" she cuts me off. I shrugged before walking into my room to change......

      *Betania Hospital puebla, Mexico*

   Our family doctor was Dr. Victoria Beckham. As long as I can remember ever since I was a kid, she  was always the one.
      We entered her very large office accompanied by her Secretary. The smell alone made me want to puke 'gosh it stinks' I thought  "Ohh my Lucia!  Its been a while what brought you here ? I hope everything is fine?" she asked 'is that suppose to be a question? ' I thought cocking up my brow."ohh I'm fine thank you.... its just that Mona's not fine.... she keeps puking and sleeps more often..... sometimes, she gets irritated by her favorites, often, she eats too much salt, most of the time, she takes alot of chili peppers and that, I just dont think an ordinary person can do that.." my mum added. Looking at my mom alone made me want to cry. She sounded scared... real scared. "Ok I'll just have her tested and get back to you later.. it'll only take a few minute.... common mona" Victoria said and I followed....

      Later, I came back to the office..... my mum smiled blindly "are you ok?" She asked "yes mom I promise I told you we didn't have to come here. .. you don't need to stress yourself out because of me" I said "no Mona allow me, we're here already..... besides I wont be able to stay calm if I know something is wrong with you... I dont want to lose you Mona not how I lose your brother.... I wont be able to take it mona you mean the world to me Mona"she said "but mum Inigo is still out there and whi knows maybe one-day he might be the key to finding dad just like he had promised years ago" I said and all she could do but nod until Victoria came out with a very disappointed look making me more nervous than ever.

"doctor?" My mom said standing up on her feet "congratulations Mona your two weeks pregnant" she said. If she were at least happy for me, she would have had this smile on her face but there was none.

Her words were so loud that I felt my head pounding like I was going to faint.....  "what?" My mom whisperly shouted in disbelief  "mum? I'm feeling dizzy" I whispered and before she could spare some attention to me, I fell to the ground, "Mona!" I heard my mum shouted before I blacked out.

         I opened my eyes slowly as everywhere seemed blurry. "Ouch" I snarled "Mona your awake! " I heard my mum said "Nurse!"she added "mum I cant be pregnant" I whispered in pain as tears found their way down "shh shh its ok dont think about that anymore it'll be harmful or the child" she said "mum I'm so sorry.... I'm such a disappointment to you" I said crying the more "No Mona dont say that..... it was destined to happen no one can do anything about it" she said brushing my hair backwards with her hand. "No mum be mad at me scold me please! I'm a big disgrace to you and our family..... I'm sorry mum.... we can still do something about the baby" I said wiping my tears "what? What do you mean?" She asked "I'll abort the baby" I said "what!? Dont be silly just because you're angry at your self and Daniel doesn't mean you can involve my grandchild in this! I wont accept that ... I wont let you make another mistake you would regret... I wont let you endanger you life and the baby's! What are you even thinking? That killing the baby will sort out your problems?  Even so Mona thats commiting a big sin" she scolded "I'm sorry mum " I said crying alot more than before "its ok shhh dont think about that anymore but you wont harm the baby... promise me" she said hugging my head to her chest..."i promise" I replied "now eat up then take your medicines you dont want to fall sick and harm the baby do you?" My mum said picking up the spoon on the tray..."thanks mum..... sometimes I wonder what I've ever done to deserve you" I said "thats for me to wonder my child"she said and I smiled.... "now eat" she said and then feeding me...at that point I felt like a baby...."I love you mum" I whispered kissing her cheek "I love you more my dear" she replied smiling "I want my grandchild to be chubby so eat alot" she said and we both chuckled....

    Two days later and I was discharged from the hispital. We went back home and found it juat like we had left it meaning that David didn't return......

"good day mum"my mum greeted the old lady who sat on the couch with food on the table like its was for some feast.... no doubt she'd won in her gambling game.... she welcomed us in with a death glare before standing up "and where do you think you're coming from? Who do you think you are? Huh?! " she shouted "you wanted to kill me by making me starve huh?! "But mum you're eating aren't you?" My mum said "havent I told you never to refer me as your mother? I rather stay childless than to have you for a daughter you flirt! Gold digger" she shouted  "watch it dont say such things about my mother because you have no idea how kind of a woman she is" I replied in anger "Mona dont stress out your Child just leave her alone..... now go up and have some rest" my mum said "what?! Mona's pregnant? ! Did I hear you well? Where's the father ?" Rosa asked surprised......"what? Who is having a baby?" David came in asking in surprise.

.... I was shocked to my wit because I wouldn't know what he'd do if he knew......"Gaby! Mona's pregnant with a child!" Rosa shouted upon sighting him.... "what? Say that again..... "I said Mona is pregnant" Rosa exclaimed .....  "I warned you Mona niw watch what I Do next!" He snarled then walked into his room as Rosa followed behind.......
