              David was the last person we expected to show up in the house... from the looks, he was drunk and besides with his mother around, he would only listen to her.... my heart kept on racing as I could only think of my mother.

Soon I saw david barging out of his room with this long leather belt he'd always used to threaten us... but now he was really going to use it .. but on who?...
     "I warned you but you wouldn't listen and now you want to make me raise that thing in my house!" David bursted wiping me with the belt.....I felt as if I was going to die at that moment "don't you dare touch her if you have to you'll have to pass through me!" My mum shouted helping me up as she stood in my front " I told you never to interupt in conversations I have with my children!! Get out of my way or else ..." he stated then hit her with the belt this time he didn't stop.... "stop it Gaby do you want to kill them that's enough!!" I heard Rosa shout "shut up mother or else" he retorted "please stop hurting her I beg you I'll do what ever you ask of me just stop hurting her!!!" I shouted and then he turned to me.

I looked down at my crying mother who was in so much pain making my heart to ache like I was in her place... I wishe It were me instead of her..."mum ? I'm sorry" I said cuddling her into a hug ...."anything you say?" David asked with his deep and husky voice as I turned to look at him and nodded blindly "I want you to go far away from here, its either you and that thing you're having in there or your mum" he said "No Mona don't choose please I'm begging you" my mum said "no mum I cant risk your life ... I'll go away....." I started but got cut short " yeah that's the drill.... plus when you're outta here, there will be no phone calls no visits no nothing..... lets just say that I'm disowning you..... yeah thats it you're from now onwards disowned "No! You cant do that! you have no rights!  She's not yours so you cant do that to her!...." my mum shouted helplessly......

"mum please don't you worry I'll be fine " I said holding her firmly and just listening "too bad Lucia but I already did right?" He answered and burst out laughing......

      "I cant lose you Mona!  Youre all I've got left please dont leave..... I'll die if I lose you or If anything ever happen to you or my grandchild my conscience won't be able to take it Mona" she continued..... thay moment, the tears I've being holding for some while came rushing down

"its ok mum i'll always be around I cant let you take the blame for my mistakes..... please mum if you dont wany me or the baby hurt just let us go" I whispered still holding her tight. ......
"Decide fast drama queens!" David scolded "I'm leaving" I stated hesitantly good very good..... now get moving! " he said...

I held her as we walked straight to my room....
After some while packing,  I kept on wondering where I'll go.... I mean I have no other place to turn to.... "mum?" I called but she didn't move an inch "mum please talk to me" I added " you can't leave me here... I'll come with you..... I cant stay here Mona" she said "so now you're tired? You can't stay with me anymore?  You hate me now?" David kept asking mimicking her voice "..... and you? What 're you still waiting for? move!" He shouted. ..... "mum? I'll come back for you I promise "I said the walked out she called me several times but I wouldn't wait. If I do, it'll only make it hard for me to leave her like that..... "bye mum" I whispered then left the house.........
      As I was only blocks away from my house, I thought of the next place to go. I was too confused to even think straight ... "Daniel you must pay for what you did!" I groaned. Just then did one thought of where to go came flashing..... to Daniels......

Emotional and very short  chapter indeed........
