Jason's pov

Wow. She's my daughter. "Hey." She says, waving. "Hey kiddo." I'm so nervous.

Alexandria's pov

"I don't like this Ruth." I mumble nervously. "I think he's nice. It was pretty cool he came." I shrug nervously and look out there. They were talking and he laughs at something. I'm not sure what.

Jason's pov

"Here's an important question." "What?" I smile. "Do you like country music?" "Ooh! I love it! Every song tells a story." "Well," I say proudly, "I play it for a living. I'll be right back." I go get my guitar out of Alexandria's car. When I look back, she's standing in the doorway. She's such a beautiful sweet little girl. I can't believe I have a daughter. It's the most amazing feeling. We go back inside. "What songs do you like?" "I love everything but Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson are at the top of my list. "I've played with Garth Brooks before." "Really?" "Yeah. Especially this song." I play rodeo for her and she sings along. I love having a daughter who loves country music too.

Ruth-Anne calls me to the kitchen. "What's up?" "Thank you so much for coming. She's so happy." I... I didn't want to admit it in the beginning but man am I glad. "Thanks so much for sending me that letter." "I was worried you'd be freaked." I was at first. "You both sure raised her well." "Thanks. We try not to spoil her while still you know spoiling her." We both laugh. She hands me a set of car keys. "What's this for?" "I'm sure she would love to get her present from you." "What is it?" "A new car for when she starts high school." Holy cow! "Awesome."

Miranda's pov

Me and Sierra were playing twister when my moms and dad walked out of the kitchen. "Hey Miranda, we've got a surprise for you." I stand up. Dad hands me keys. "What are these for?" "Your very own gold Volkswagen beetle." He says. I scream in excitement and run outside. I can't wait to get my license.

Jason's pov

"Now we've gotta teach her to drive." Ruth-Anne says laughing. Alexandria looks mad. "I don't like this Ruth." "Drop it. You're such a worry wart." "What's wrong? I can teach her to drive if that's the problem." "No. That's just the problem." Alexandria says, glaring at me. "What is?" "You are! Why did she want to know about you?! She was perfectly happy with having two moms! We don't need you!!! We don't want you here!!!" "ALEX STOP!" Ruth-Anne yells. "No! He needs to leave and never come back!" I'm totally shocked by her blow up. I guess she doesn't like me. "Go away!" "No way!" "You're gonna try to take her away from me!" Alexandria cries, sobbing into her hands. "Hey I'm not gonna try to take her. I don't know who you think I am but I'm not a jerk. I wanna get to know my daughter but I'm not gonna take her from you guys." "We don't need you." She growls, stomping out. I hear a car drive away. "I am so sorry about her Jason. She's really paranoid" "I don't know why she thinks I'd do that." "Like I said paranoid. I hope you're not offended." "Hun, I'm a pretty laid back guy. It takes a lot to piss me off." I have got to figure out what to do about Alexandria.
