Alex's pov

I wake up out of a deep sleep desperately gasping for breath. Ruth sits up and hugs me. "What happened?" She asks. But for some odd reason, I wish Jason's arms were wrapped around me.

Jason's pov

I was recording in the studio and after about four songs, I took a break. My phone was blinking. I picked it up. It was a text. From Alex.

A: Miranda wants to come visit.

J: OK cool. I'm at the studio it'll take me about ten minutes.

A: c u then.

J: see ya.

I wave to Mike and drive home. Alex's car was already in the driveway so I went inside. "Sweetheart?" I call, confused. I feel hands on my shoulders. I turn around to Alex confused. "What's goin' on?" "I was wrong." "Wrong about what?" She bites her lip and looks away. "Jason, I have a confession." "What is it?" I gasp. She looks like she's about to cry. "Alex... Talk to me." She does start crying and I hug her. "I miss you." She whispers. "Miss me?" I gape. To my shock and amazement, she kisses me again. I pull away caught off guard. "W-What... Are y-you doing?" "I want you, Jason. I want you bad." I get all choked up. "B-But what about-" "I don't care!" She cried. "I think.... Jason I think I love you." She whispers, making my body freeze up. "Y-You l-love me?" She nods and kisses me. My arms wrap around her.   We were heatedly making out when she grabbed my shirt collar and backed up onto the couch. "I couldn't.... Stop... Thinking about you." She whispers. This is awesome.

*later*

"What about-" "Shh don't worry about her." She whispers, putting a finger to my lips. My phone rings scaring the shit out of me. "Hello?" "Hey dad, mom's car broke down. Can you help?" "Oh OK yeah sure." I get off the phone and the couch and tell Alex. "We really need to figure out what we're doing between us and Ruth. Because I'm not going to keep going behind her back but I do love you." She smiles and hugs me. "Hearing you say you love me just made me so happy." I hug her tight. I'm so confused and worried about everything.
