Miranda's pov

"Daddy dinner's ready." I say, turning on the light. He didn't respond. "Dad?" I say walking over and shaking him. I notice something horrifying. "MOM!!! MOMMY!?!?" I yell desperate. Mom ran in. "HE'S NOT BREATHING!" I shout horrified and scared out of my wits. "Shit! Call an ambulance!" She shouts. I grab his phone as she screams his name and does CPR!

*A few hours later*

Thankfully they were able to get him breathing again. He needs to stay in the hospital. I was crying. Again. Mom hugs me. "What are we going to do?" I whimper. "He's just sleeping now, Miranda. He's going to be alright. If he stops breathing, the doctors will know instantly." "B-But why... Why did he stop breathing?" I hear footsteps. "Brain injuries can lead to severe complications." A doctor said. He walked to the bed and did some stuff on the machines. "Is h-he going to be okay?" I ask nervous. "He's only sleeping right now, miss. He's not comatose." I walk to the bed. "Dad?" I whisper putting a hand on his arm. He groggily woke up. "W-Wha... What happened? Where am I?" Mom tells him everything that happened and the doctor leaves. "I'm going to get you something to eat." Mom says, waving and leaving. "I'm sorry dad." I whisper. "Sorry for what?" He asks. "For causing all this. For hurting you. For asking mom and mama to contact you!" I gasp, crying. He stared at me shocked then hugged me. "I'm glad they called me. I love having a daughter. I'm the one who should be sorry! I never should've had you make such a huge decision. I just.... I wanted to do... What you wanted. I never wanted you to get hurt." I couldn't stop crying and I hated it. The doctor came back in and asked him some questions. "It's kinda weird. I know folks are talking to me but my brain doesn't process anything." He says, still hugging me. "It's just part of the injury. I will make sure it's healed 100 percent." He says. "Are you in pain?" He shakes his head. "Not right now. Anyway. Did... Did I really... Stop breathing?" "I'm afraid so." The doctor responded looking a little worried. He held me tighter. "Dad?" I gasp caught off guard. Suddenly he threw me to the ground. "What the hell?!" I gape. "I'm so sorry! I d-didn't m-mean to... To do that... I... My arms!" He gasps looking freaked out. "Calm down sir. It's just muscle spasms. You shouldn't be excited so much!" The doctor said. "C-Calm down? I... How can... I... I'm sorry!" He shakily said. "Sir you need to calm down. Take a deep breath or you'll send yourself into shock." I jump up and run over. "Dad!" I cry, grabbing his shaking hands. He was crying. "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." He whispered. "It's okay. I'm not mad. I love you Dad." I say hugging him. He was crying quietly and shaking. It took a little bit but he got his breathing under control again. I hate that he feels so bad. A few minutes later, mom comes in with food. "Hospital food is shit sadly." Dad smiles worried. "Thanks Alex. You really are the best." She looked like she might cry. She hugged him. "Gosh Jason I love you so much." "I love ya too." Wow. I've never seen two people so in love before. Not even between her and Mama Ruth-Anne.
