Jason's pov

I went back to Nashville. After recording for a couple hours, I went to the bar with Luke and TFarr. "So what took you out of Nashville?" Tyler asks. Oh man. "Well boys, apparently I'm a father." "Whoa! You're joking!" Luke gapes. He laughs and elbows me. "Oh lemme guess, you're a member of the mile high club!" I laugh and shake my head. "No man. It was a lesbian couple who went to the hospital wanting to have a baby and it just so happened, sixteen years ago they chose me." "I don't get it." "Believe me, I haven't known til last week." "This sure is unexpected." He says, ordering another beer. "Well one of her moms hates my guts." They both laugh. "What'd you do to piss her off?" Tyler asks. I glare at them. "Nothin' ya jackass!" I say, glaring at them. I roll my eyes and pay for my beer then I head home and turn the TV on, bored as hell. My phone buzzes. I glance at it annoyed. It better not be the guys. I pick it up. Unknown number? I scratch my head and click into it.

UN: Hey daddy.

Oh it's my little girl.

J: Hey princess. I didn't know you knew my number.

M: mama gave it to me. How are you doing?

J: what do you mean?

M: you left pretty fast.

Oh that. I sigh and scrunch my eyes.

J: Alexandria doesn't like me that much.

M: she's just worried. It's okay.

I glance at the clock.

J: you should get to bed. It's almost midnight.

M: ok dad. Talk to ya later.

J: you too.

After that I grab a beer and crash upstairs exhausted I tiredly fall asleep thinking of my new family.

*in his dream*

I was filling up a swimming pool. My amazing daughter runs out of the house in her bathing suit. "Daddy!" She cries, hugging me. "Hey sweet girl. Pool's just about ready." "Yay!" She's just plain adorable. The radio blared in the background. I saw Alex suntanning wearing sunglasses. Brad's song Karate was on. "He's in the bar shooting cuervo with tikate, he didn't know she'd been takin' karate! The way she figures it about July..... She's gonna have a belt.... To match her eye!" I laugh softly and walk over pulling Alex out of the chair. She smiles. "Dance with me?" She takes off her sunglasses. "It'll be my pleasure."

*he wakes up*

I shoot up, spilling my beer on my shirt. "Whoa." I can't believe I dreamt that! That was weird. I change my shirt and lay back down. Maybe turning Pandora on will help me calm down. I plug in my headphones and lay back down, exhausted. The first song that comes on is Brad's Karate. I rip the headphones out, chills going down my back. "Dammit, man get a grip! It was just a crazy fucked up dream!" I say angry with myself for freaking out.

*the next day*

I wake up groggily hearing my phone ring. "Dammit." I groan annoyed. I glare at the clock. 7 AM!!! "This better be good." Oh it's Ruth-Anne! I answer it, trying to wake up. "What's up?" "Hey Jaso... Did you just wake up?" "Yeah. What is it?" "I wanted to inform you we're moving." I sit up quickly wide eyed. "M-Moving? Where?" I gape worried I'll never see my daughter again. "Knoxville. So we're closer to where you live." I breathe a relieved sigh. "That's great." "See ya later." "Yeah. See ya." I let the phone fall and go back to sleep exhausted.

*later*

Miranda's pov

Mom is driving me to Nashville to visit dad. I jump out of the car and run to the door. I knock. "Daddy!" "Comin'." He calls. Seconds later, he opens the door. I hug him and we go inside. Mom stays outside but texts me to call her when I am ready to go home. "So what are we doing?" I ask. "I'm still trying to wake up." I laugh. He smiles. I sit at the island and he opens the fridge. "When did you wake up?" I gasp, trying not to laugh even more. He smiles. "Darlin' you're lookin' at a man who works at night and sleeps during the day. I don't usually get up til noon." "Lucky." I mutter. He ruffles my hair and bites into an apple. "Let's get going kid." "Where are we going?" "Now if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise." I shrug and we go to his truck and drive into town. We spend a couple hours at the hall of fame and to my shock Luke Bryan was there!
