London | Lin x Pippa

Chapter 3

Lin's POV
As I sit in my dressing room I feel a little guilty of leaving Oak and Pip out there. They have no clue what is going on and by their actions, they are probably a bit concerned. Maybe I should tell them, I think to myself. Then reality hits me. They don't really need to know, and it doesn't matter anyway. After 15 minutes of feeling sorry for myself, I decide to be productive. We have a show to put on, after all.

1 month later, Vanessa and Lin are divorced.

That night when I got to kiss Pippa, it felt different because Vanessa was no longer a part of my life. It felt great, but something else as well that I can't put my finger on. I don't know if I do like her or not, but that doesn't matter because sadly, I know that Pippa was taken

6 months pass. Pippa and Steven got married recently, some people have left, and I am now in London for rehearsals for the new Mary Poppins film.

I was in my apartment in London with sebby watching Chuggington with him. It was actually an interesting show! I decide to go pick up some groceries so I put sebby in his car seat and drive to the closest grocery store. I am still not used to driving in the left side of the road OR the restaurants. So I just rely on Siri.

Once I find a parking spot in the downtown area start walking around, trying to find this so called store. That is when I see them. Pippa and Steven walking hand in hand. After 6 months I guess I have figured it out. Phillipa looks beautiful (and she is wearing a hat) but I mainly feel jealous of Steven. I decide not to ruin their honeymoon and just keep going about my day. It's not like she would want to talk to me anyway.. and priorities ya know??

Pippa's POV
After the wedding, Steven surprised me with a trip to London! I was so excited, we had a nice hotel and we're going to stay there for a month.

Today we are just walking around, enjoying the sights. I pick out a nice hat, a scarf (because it is chilly) and my white blouse with capris. Then I put my jacket on over, cuz ya know... (<- apparently I like that expression..)

We head down the street and turn a few times. I see the last person I would ever think to see in London. It's Lin. He is heading into the store with sebby. I wonder where Vanessa is.
"Steven! It's Lin! Let's go say hi!!"
"Seriously pippa?" He contradicts and pulls me back, "come on, London is huge so that's probably not even him. plus it's our honeymoon.. I don't wanna spend it talking to some guy who has his eye on you I wanna spend my time with my new wife," He pouts and pulls me closer.
"Fine fine," I think about what he says, Lin can't possible like me. He is married, right??

Steven's POV
Walking down the road hand in hand with my leading lady is all I could ever ask for. But then things take a turn for the worse as I see Lin. He appears to be watching us, no, her. I start to seethe but when I see that Pippa notices him too, the last thing I want to do is converse. We used to be friends, but things sorta changed after I felt some heat from Lin. I tried to shut him out but couldn't fully keep him away of my life because him and pippa were pretty close. Unfortunately.

Lin's POV
Woah. That's weird. Steven just gave me a death glare. I decide to brush it off, he has always been weird around me, like he finds me a threat. I just decide to ignore whatever it is that's bothering him. it is a beautiful day and we haven't been getting along too well anyway.

I am carrying Sebby and walking into a nice coffee shop because it's the afternoon and a warm drink sounds delicious. After paying the barista, setting Sebastian down and taking a sip and deep breath, sebby and I walk out of the store.

**boom**
"What the hell (IM SORRY I DONT USUALLY SWEAR I PROMISE!), dude, watch where you're going" Steven growls defensively as I walk straight into Pippa. Idek why he's mad cuz my drink spilled on ME. not HER. whatever. Steven's arm is around pippa and pulls her closer.
"Sorry sorry.. oh. Hey guys," I say super awkwardly, acting like I just realized who it was "how are you?"
"Hey Lin! Long time no see!" Pippa exclaims happily.
"Good until now. God," Steven spits.
"Hey, it's ok. Nothing is wrong, it was an accident," pippa replies, tryna calm him down. I feel good knowing that she is willing to defend me.
"Fine fine."
"I'm really sorry about your coat, Lin. There is a washing machine and dryer at our hotel, I can take your jacket and wash it if you want" Steven glares at pippa. She scowls defensively "what was that?"
"Nothing."
"Hey," I say, "I really don't think it was. Ya know you were all jolly until you noticed me so idk what's going on but don't take it out on her. She's just trying to be nice--so am I ."
"I think ur being a little more than nice" he replies with a smirk.
"What?? Woah. Are you seriously implying what I think you are?!" I am raising my voice. Realizing I still have sebby with me I quickly change the topic. "Whatever. Come on sebby, let's go home. Do you wanna say goodbye?"
"Bye Pippa" he whispers shyly
"Bye sebby, see you around!" Pippa says as she kneels down to give him a hug. So adorable!!
"Phillipa, lets go" Steven orders.
"Okay okay jeez. Cya later guys"
"Cya." I whisper in awe of the perfect human being I front of me
"Back off, I'm serious," Steven whispers as they turn to leave, quiet enough for only me to hear.
"Yikes, am I right?" I quietly say to my son after they are gone, not expecting an answer.
"Yup!" Replies Sebby, happily as he jumps around me.
