Chapter 6

"Brb guys lin's here," I say to the girls before taking out my earbuds and getting up to greet him.
"Hey Lin," I say as we hug for a good 5 seconds. It feels so good. "And hi Sebastian!" I pick him up and go back to where I was sitting. After ending the FaceTime with the other 2 Schuyler sisters Lin and I sit and talk. There is so much catching up to do.

Lin's POV
"Come on Sebby let's go see Pippa" I say as we head out the door. There are a few distinct places that I am able to pin point here in my new home, and one of those places is the cafe on Leather.
Parking is difficult but luckily I find a spot and it's all good. I walk into the little shop and look around. There Pippa is being the cute cinnamon roll she is sitting in the corner. I walk towards her and we sorta meet in the middle because she gets up to meet me. After saying hello, Sebby and I sit down with her at the table and she ends her FaceTime.
"It's so great to see you Pippa, and by the way, I'm really sorry about Steven. I know it sucks, but you'll find someone," I say hoping that just maybe she will understand how I feel. Reading her is harder than I thought and I can't really tell, but get lost in my thoughts as I look at her and think about a possible future.
"Lin?? Are you okay??"
"Oh yeah.. sorry. I'll be right back, I'm gonna grab a coffee and go to the bathroom," I say awkwardly, "Sebby, why don't you catch up with Pippa! Tell her all about your favorite show!" I say as I smile at her.
I go into the bathroom and text the guys from Hamilton on our chat
Lin: hey guys I need your help
Lin: guys
Lin: guys please be there!!!!!!!
Leslie: we're here we're here what do you need?
Daveed:^^
Jonathon: heyo
Oak: wassup my man?!
Ant: hey y'all
Lin: ok so ya know how I'm in London?? Welll Pippa is here too and we are getting coffee together and idk what to do!!
Oak: MY SHIP IS SAILING AYYYY
Ant: that's awesome lemme tell jasmine!!
She will be stoked
Leslie: when is coffee?
Lin: now
Leslie: WHERE ARE YOU TEEING FROM?! Go to herrrrrr
Ant: jasmine already knew.. 😏😏 Pippa told her. Maybe .. hehehehe
Lin: 😑
Daveed: hold up--what do you mean you don't know what to do?
Jonathon: yeah and where's Steven??
Lin: you gotta swear not to tell anyone.
Jonathon: mkay
Lin: they're over
ant: WHAT
Oak: DRAMAAAAAA (more luv fur mah boiii)
Jonathan: NUUU my setup failed 😭😭
Leslie: huh. Didn't see that coming! So what's the problem??
Lin: there isn't really a problem.. it's just she's staying with me now cuz she doesn't have a hotel and it's super awkward cuz I don't know what to talk about. Aghhh help mah!
Jonathon: for real tho now I feel bad cuz maybe I caused them to be hurting.
Lin: pip's hurting** Jonathon. Steven cheated
Jonathon: :(
Oak: she's staying with you????
Daveed: wow already making moves am I right??
Ant: anythin gonna go down tonight?? 😏😏
Lin: ew no. No guys. I just feel like it's gonna be awkward if I tell Pippa how I feel and awkward if I don't cuz I WILL ACT AWKWARD. Ya know?? And I don't wanna ruin our relationship or anything.
Oak: dude you'll be fine. She will understand
Ant: pretty sure she has feelings for ya man.
Ant: shoot jasmines yelling at me cuz I told u gotta run
Lin: oh. Cool??
Daveed: OF COURSE ITS COOL UR GURL LOVES YOU
Lin: idk bout that
Jonathon: tell her. (Putting my bets on this ship now)
Oak: let's make a new group chat without Lin and Pippa and place bets!!
Leslie: ummm let's not
Chris: hey guys sorry I was out.
Chris: YO LIPPA
Oak: ayyy
Lin: guys do I tell her or no..? I need help!! And pip's gonna think im dyin in here
Ant: yes
Leslie: yeah, go for it
Daveed: tots magoats
Oak: I don't think that's how you spell it...
Oak: and yeah
Lin: shit. Pippa is texting me "r u ok??" WHAT DID I TELL YOU
Chris: lol
Lin: lol
Lin: k gotta run. Bye guys, thanks
I quickly turn off my phone and leave the bathroom. Shoot, I was supposed to buy a drink... oh well.
As I get back to the table I see Pippa and Sebastian in deep conversation about the plot of Chuggington.
"Hey, are you alright?" Pippa asks concerned.
"Yeah yeah just texted the guys a bit," I reply sheepishly.
"Oh, ha. Do you miss them?" She asks in attempt to start a conversation.
"Yeah, I do. I'm still getting used to being away from home. Ya know? I've spent my whole life in New York... London seems like a stranger's world. But I have Sebs, and now I have you." I'm internally punching myself as I blush. Why did I say that??? Ughhh

Pippa's POV
Aww that's so cute. Maybe he does care about me after all?? All I can say is "thanks" after a few eternal seconds of silence he breaks it.
"Listen, Phillipa. I have to tell you something and I don't know what this is going to do to our relationship.. if we even have one you hold of value.. but it's eating me alive. This is what I had to text to my friends about and they gave time the nerves to talk to you. I like you, Pippa, I really do. I know this might be coming at a bad time with you and Steven and I don't know if you feel comfortable staying at my place now. But I wanted to be totally honest with you.. sorry if this is weird to you but I you deserve to know the truth.."
My mind is racing. So jazz and Renee weren't lying and Lin does like me. What am I supposed to say, I think I might like him.. I mean, he has been there for me and everything and we've known each other for such a long time. I just don't know if I can do this right now.
"Pippa, are you alright?"
"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine..." I can't look at him. He puts his hand on mine and the feeling I have always felt have in the past comes rushing back. I do like him, and I can't push it away anymore. We lock eyes and I start to lean in
"Yes you were right Renee. The feeling is in fact mutual" I mutter under my breath as I smile.
He laughs, I laugh and we kiss.
"Ewwwwww" sebby says as he scrunches up his nose.
"Chill out little dude," Lin smiles and ruffles his son's hair.
After a half an hour of more catching up, Lin says: "so do you wanna come back to my place and get settled in? You can take as much time as you need there." We start to pack up from my little corner in the cafe. Lin takes my suitcase and we both take hold of one of Sebby's hands (who by the way is skipping and jumping).
"Thank you, Lin, really"
"Anytime Betsy, anytime."

Finished this up just now and I thought I might as well publish it. Thank you for all of the support!! (I know it's lame...) but this has been up for a DAY and already has 32 FREAKING VIEWS!!!!!!
