Early in the morning Howard dragged me out of my bed and away to go see what the fuse was about the blue glow stick Steve found at the hydra base when we saved everyone.
"It is unusual, alpha-beta ray neutral. I doubt Rogers picked up on that," Howard said smirking at the assistant writing everything down. I rolled my eyes and looked back at the glow stick,"Seems harmless enough, hard to see what all the fuse is about-" Crash. I raised my hands to cover myself and when the fog cleared, I noticed a purplish blue force field around me keeping me safe.
"Write that down," "Howard, um I think we should really test whatever else I can do now," I examined hands still raised keeping the force field. Howards eyes widen,"Someone write that down too," before falling back down. »»»»»» "Fondue is just cheese and bread my friend," Howard explained to Steve. "Really? I didn't think-" "Nor you should pal the moment you think-" "Finish that sentence Howard and I'll shock you again," walking up to the him and Steve who I sent a glare at. Yes, Peggy told me what she walked in on Steve and the damn blonde bimbo who thinks it's okay to ruin my Steggy ship. IT IS NOT OKAY AND BELIEVE ME I GAVE HER A PEACE OF MY MIND. Breathe.
"What's it made of?" I heard Steve ask Howard looking over to see him holding up a shield as he needed a new one, but this just wasn't any shield this one was made out of the rarest metal on earth, vibranium.
I heard heels clicking on the floor and turned to see Peggy walking as if she's on a mission. "What do you think?" Steve asked smiling at Peggy holding up the vibranium shield with pride in his eyes, which soon turned into fear as she grabbed a gun and shot at him four times making me shoot up my hands above my head creating a force field.
"Yes, I think it works," Peggy said setting down the gun and walking away strutting her stuff showing Steve what he is missing. Oh yeah, she was absolutely jealous even though she tried to deny it when I asked her.
"Whatever you want pal," I heard Howard say as Steve handed him a piece of paper neither taking their eyes away from where Peggy walked off to. I rolled my eyes at the two, "You both honestly don't know a single bloody thing about women," I said finishing my list that Howard made me do. Wow, I just said bloody. Damn it, I'm turning into Peggy which isn't a bad thing, but still I'm not british. By, the time I wrote down the last power I looked up and saw neither were nowhere to be found. Damn it, I really need to stop getting distracted and pay attention, which I probably won't. I shrugged and walked to the lab to finish up the boys new uniforms that I designed. »»»»»» "And this is where you'll find all the weapons and your new and improved uniforms that I-" before Howard even thought about finishing that sentence I shocked him. Poor Howard I've been shocking him a lot lately, but it's funny seeing him flinch every time I raise my hands.
"Damn it, Nico your shocks hurt," he said whining rubbing his thigh. "Oh Howard stop being such a baby and learn to take a shock," I said walking over to James and kissing his cheek earning whistles from the guys.
"When did this happen?" Howard asked looking surprised at my kissing James cheek. "Well mister nosy if you must know, he asked me last night," I said intertwining my hand with Bucky's.
"Mister Nosy?" "Yeah." "Yeah, well your Miss Sassy pants." "Playboy genius." "Angelic playgirl genius." "That doesn't make sense you menso (stupid) I am not a playgirl," "Neither does your powers" Swoosh.
"I don't know, Howard I think they make total sense to me. Get it, Force," making a force field around him,"And fire," I finished opening my hand to find a flame in the middle of my palm.
"Alright alright, show off just show the boys their new toys and what you did to the captain's shield," Howard said still in the force field trying to poke his way out.
"C'mon boys, lets go see the new toys-" That did not sound right at ALL. "Weapons people WEAPONS, honestly what is going on in those minds of yours- on second that don't answer that I do not want to know," I said walking away and freeing Howard from the force field. »»»»»» "So boys, what do think?" I asked as I watched them in awed of their new guns and what not. "And Steve here is your new, improved, red, white, and blue shield," I said handing it to him.
"Nicki, thank you. For everything," Steve said nodding at me.
"It is an honor Captain, just as long you kick some coward weak hydra arse with that shield," I nodded back at him. "Now, let's go kick some arse," I said cocking my beretta m9.
"Barnes, what the hell did you do to her?" "All I did was ask her to be my girl," "Nothing else?" "Well," "Well, what Bucky?" "I told her who badass she was." "Looks like she's going to show hydra how badass she is," "You know I can hear you guys talking about me right? I'm literally standing right in front of you dummies," "I thought I was a teddy gram?"
