"Uh Lily I had to meet Adam 15 minutes ago" I said while scratching the back of my head. She gave me a stern look.

"I'm not letting you go alone."

And just like that right now we are standing in front of Adam who is giving me the-hell look.

"Dude glare her like that for one more second and you will be under the ground in a sec and she is hurt I need to be there for her so chop chop move it!" I stifled a laugh as Lily clapped her hands. Adam's face was priceless!

"Yeah okay let's go" He sighed and lead us to his car. It was shiny and white. The interior was brownish. From the looks of it, it was an Audi. Oh yeah it is an Audi. The four circles confirmed it. Sheesh Four circles sounds like some sorta gang name.

"So how did you get hurt Rain?" Can't he just call me Eva.?

"First call her Eva and second none of your concern" Lily beat me to it. Adam gave her a stern look and then turned back to the front, starting the car. I am proud to call this human here my best friend. After about 45 minutes we arrived at an old glasses shop.

"What the.." I mumbled as he led us through the door. He nodded at the guy who sat at the counter and walked straight, standing in front of a wall. After a few clicks the wall literally slid aside like a door.

"Why am I not surprised" I mumbled as Lily chuckled.

"Holy shnitzel this is whole men in black shit! minus the aliens" Lily exclaimed but then leaned forward and whispered "though Adam can be counted as an alien" we both chuckled as Adam cleared his throat.

"Okay so this is sector 9-4!" He exclaimed as we looked around. We had entered in a big white hall. It had a big white counter on right with people working on it. It consisted of two girls and two guys. One girl was red head, the other blonde. Both guys had black hair.

"Hello Director can I help you with something?" The red head bowed a little. Holy shit he gets respect. He just shook his hand at her and kept walking as Lily and I followed. After a door way a big office like hall started. The door way was of glass and you could see the counter side but from the out you couldn't see in. Cool.

This hall had many cubicles of creemish color and many people were working. I got many glares and stares. Some people were whispering about me.

"Is she the one?"

"Oh my god she is here"

"She is pretty" I scoffed at this one.

"These guys keep records of everything. Literally everything that goes on in the city. The scanners send them the reports about everything and then they work through it and assign others or themselves to work out the problems" Adam explained and kept on walking.

"Problems like?" I asked.

"You'll know.. soon." He calmly replied. Pfft. We walked through another door way as he opened a door on the right. Voices reached our ears.

"Street 3"

Phone rings.

"Get Alice on it."

"Forward it please."

People were everywhere passing papers, on the computers.

"These are the scanners, they have a look on what is going on in the city" I nodded. Every body froze and stopped doing what ever they were doing. All eyes were on us as every one said in unison. "Good evening Sir" and bowed a bit to Adam. DAAAYUM DANIEL! He nodded and closed the door as we walked further.
