"Okay so why are you all here?" Adam said while keeping his eyes on the yellow file on his hand. River sighed and walked forward, snatching the file from Adam's hand and throwing it across the room. Adam's eyes shot up towards him shooting lasers as an 'ooooh' escaped my mouth. 

"River if you don't want to die don't ever think of doing that" Adam said in a rather calm voice. He walked forward and sat on his desk while facing us. 

"Now I was expecting you'd come" He said as he looked at us. We literally looked like some gang shit just make us hold some weapons. River was standing in front of Adam with a firm stance (his arms crossed and legs wide) , I was leaning against the wall near the door with my arms crossed and my legs making a four, Ajax was literally sprawled on the chair in front of him and Lily was sitting across me on a chair with one leg on another. But all our eyes were boring into Adam's. 

"Adam enough bull-" 

"Language" I smirked at River who just sighed as Lily snickered. 

"Enough bull SHIVEK just explain everything. Rain's life is in danger" 

"Wait what?" I pushed myself off the wall and walked forward. They all ignored me as usual. 

"Follow me" Adam said and walked out the door. Lily and I exchanged the nigga-whaa looks and followed the three guys outta the room. We walked down the hallway and into another password metal door. Adam punched in a code as the door opened with a slight buzz. Pft I was expecting a click. We walked inside and my jaw hit the floor. The place was all white with scientists, test tubes and machinery. It was some sorta secret lab. Can't get cliche-er eh? 

"Welcome to Sector 9-4's Lab" Adam turned towards us and exclaimed with his arms spread wide. I scoffed as Adam gave me a stink eye but continued with the class trip. 

"Dr. Red?" Just then a guy with ginger hair, green eyes and a tall frame walked in. He had no muscle yet was atractive and my guess? He was about 23 years old. From the bracelet on the wrist he has a girl friend because probably they did the 'let's wear matching bracelet' shit. 

"Yes direct- Is that 19?" His eyes widened as he looked at me and eyed me. I have been here for the last 3 weeks doofus. 

"Yes and I think well more like Mr River thinks we need to tell her already" Adam said while facing me as Dr. Red and River exchanged a quick high five behind his back. 

"Okay so" Dr. Red cleared his throat, "My name is Dr Benjamin Red. You can call me Ben" He smiled brightly at us. 

"I'll stick with Red. Now what do you guys want to tell me?" I said while cocking my head to the left. He looked around as if any one would hear him and motioned towards a room which turned out to be his office. Well now we were sitting in a not-so-shabby looking office. 

"So you see 19" He trailed off as I sighed. Ajax got up and faced me. 

"You're not a human" He said too quickly. I leaned back in my chair. 

"And an alien?" I smirked as he glared at me. 

"More like an experiment" Adam said from behind him making me choke on my saliva. 

"What?" I said shooting up from my chair. River, Ajax and Adam had sympathetic faces on while Lily went into shock mode. 

"This one big fat lie!" I said with grand hand gestures. Red shook his head. 

"You see 19 have you ever heard of cronus?" 

"Yup bad bad people" I muttered while quoting River. OR was it Ajax?

"About 18 years ago Cronus had an experiment" He threw a brown file on his table. I walked up and opened it. They were profiles. Teenagers just like me. 16,15,17 and 18s. Each had a number rather then a name. 1,2,3,4,5 and so on. 

"They tested with mixing animal DNA with human to make a human weapon." 

"Which turned out to be a fail as every one of them" Adam added as I cut him off by muttering. 

"Died."

Red, Ajax, Adam and River nodded as Lily just stood there letting the information in. 

"None of them could adapt to the animal DNA running in them. Tigers, bears and.... wolves" Red looked me in the eye while saying wolves. 

"A new animal for every..... person" It was as if he was avoiding to call them, me a person. 

"Which did survive died in a fire which destroyed the whole of cronus." 

"Good story everybody died now can we please go?" Lily whined clearly upset on I don't know me being not a human or she being a best friend with a 'thing' for so long. 

"That's the thing. We don't know how 19 survived." 

"I'm one of them?" I whispered and looked up as Ajax nodded at me. "Woah.." I muttered while falling back on my chair and mumbling some colorful words. 

"When you get angry or upset do you feel a change in you?" Red asked making my eyes fall on him. Something dropped in my stomach making me realize. 

The warmth.

The power. 

"Yeah" My voice was low and short showing how confused I was right now. 

"You know when you get angry your eye color changes to golden?" My head snapped towards River and I swear my neck would've snapped with how hard I did. 

"Golden?" I shrieked. They all nodded as Lily threw a small mirror at me. I opened it and gasped as I realized. 

Golden lines were expanding in my eye. From my iris towards the out. Soon my green was covered with golden with specks of silver. I blinked furiously but still nothing happened. I dropped the mirror as it shattered into thousands of pieces. 

"W-what is happening to me?" I was literally whimpering. 

"Hey now 19. Don't worry your animal was a wolf. Try and embrace it don't be scared" Red said in a slow tone like he was talking to a kid. Something scratched in the back of my mind. I shook my head as a head ache started forming. 

"No n- AAAH!" A scream escaped my lips as the head ache felt as if someone hammered a nail straight between my brows. I fell on the floor as I heard them calling my name. My vision blurred as I clutched my head falling on the floor. 

"Ra-" River tried to touching me only for a loud growl to escape my lips as they all froze. Something was fighting inside of me trying to get out and kill everything. 

"Wolves were always my favourite" I muttered as my vision went black.
