Booth came back to Brennan's apartment in the morning. He did something terrible last night and he felt extremely guilty.

Hannah came over to Booth's apartment and knocked. Booth let her in.

"I can't stay at my place anymore. I was kicked out" she explained.

"You can stay here. You take the bedroom and I'll take the couch," Booth said.

Hannah smiled and hugged him, "Thank you."

She kissed Booth on the cheek, then she pressed her lips against his. Booth kissed back. He didn't stop the kiss until they were in the bedroom and Booth had taken off his shirt.

"What am I doing?" Booth said.

"What?"

"I'm still with Bones! I can't do this."

Booth went into the living room and slept.

Brennan opened the door and let Booth in. Booth hugged her.

"Booth, I'm so sorry for overreacting last night. My behavior was inexcusable," Brennan sobbed on his shoulder.

"Bones, I screwed up," Booth said as he pulled away from her.

Brennan looked into his eyes and he said, "Hannah and I kissed."

Just like that, Brennan's heart shattered.

"Did you do anything to stop it?" Brennan asked.

Booth shook his head and answered, "Not until Hannah and I went into my bedroom."

"You had se-"

"No no no! I stopped before we went that far."

"You know what?" Brennan hissed, "You might as well have slept with her because we are done either way!"

"Bones-"

"No! We are OVER! I thought you would never hurt me. But that's all you have done to me!" Brennan began to cry, "Get the hell out of my apartment!"

"Bu-"

"I don't want to see you unless it's for work," Brennan began to walk away, but then she turned around and said, "Actually, I never want to see your face again."

Brennan walked out of her apartment went to the Jeffersonian. She wrote her letter of resignation and she went home. Thank God! Booth was gone. Brennan packed her bags. She overstayed her welcome. She shouldn't be here anymore. DC is a constant reminder of Booth. She packed her clothes, shoes, pictures, and a few other miscellaneous items.

She was leaving DC and she was never coming back. She grabbed her suitcase and her purse, then she got in her car and drove. First, she went the the bank. She withdrew every dime in her name. Booth can't track her if she uses just cash.

Brennan then left with a ton of money and DC in her rearview mirror.

Meanwhile, Booth was at work. He couldn't think straight. He screwed up. He gave up everything for a few kisses from some blonde.

Booth left work early that day. Sweets tried to talk to him, but Booth gave the young man the cold shoulder.

He got in his car and drove straight to Brennan's apartment. He knocked on her door, but he got no answer. He knocked a little harder. The door creeked open and Booth let himself in.

Brennan's apartment key was on the kitchen counter and Booth was confused. He walked into her bedroom to see if she was in there, but all he saw was a perfectly made bed with two end tables. Booth started to get paranoid. He opened the closet door and his suspicions were confirmed. The closet was empty. Booth checked the dresser.

Empty.

Brennan left. She's on the run now. Booth wondered, why would she leave? That's when it hit him.

"She hates me. Bones doesn't want me around," Booth muttered to himself, "Bones is gone."
