Ok readers... I'm not doing too well, we just put my dog down and I'm not taking it too well. I also went to a doctor and am now on a medication. Not to mention my finals are coming up. Overall it has been extremely stressful.

"Close your stance up," I boredly  advised as I once again nocked the blond in front of me on her backside. "Honestly you look like you belong in the red light district. You'll be just as unsteady with your stance too wide as you would if it were too narrow."

Before me my opponent went red in the face with anger and embarrassment. "H-how dare you!" Ino reared her fist back as she launched at me once again. Rotating on my left foot I turned my body to the side, sending the poor Yamanaka heir face first into the tile flooring with the force of her own advances.

Pinching the bridge of my nose in annoyance I sighed down at her "your attacks need more control. If you can't catch yourself or at the very least regain your balance after a failed attempt your practically dead the moment you hit the ground." I grumbled as I placed my foot between her shoulder blades and on top of that nott at the base of her neck. "Seriously I thought you said you would kick my A-"

"My you have quite the vulgar mouth to you hu Morino-chan?" The male voice from across the room interrupted me. "Now if you would kindly let go of my daughter."

Now most would be wondering how I came to be apart of this strange situation. Truth be told I'm not entirely sure myself. It started about a month ago, a few days after I got the news about Pa and Idate.

I had agreed to attend therapy sessions with Inoichi due to him going to the Hokage and insisting that it would be in my best interest. However during our first meeting Yamanaka-sensei got called out for some reason or another and decided that I needed to "bond" with his daughter who was supposedly training in one of the other buildings on the property. I ended finding her gazing at herself in one of the surrounding mirror walls. Of course when she spotted me she went into DEVA mode and attempted to insult me. When she got no reaction she grew frustrated and attacked.

I easily avoided and began correcting her fighting style , which was practically just terrible grappling at this point. Normally I wouldn't bother correcting her but I needed something to get my mind off of Pa's recovery and Idates.... passing.

Unfortunately Inoichi Yamanaka-sensei thought that this would not only be beneficial for his daughter but also be therapeutic for me in terms of getting over my Nii-sans (i had taken to referring to idate as my brother since i never got the chance while he was still here) death. So this became a normal part of my routine, twice a week , I get to beat up Ino before going into her father's office to talk about my "problems" while he trys to convince me to let him go mind skimming.

"For your information not a single cuss word has left my mouth yet." crossing my arms but begrudgingly obliged and freed the clan heads daughter. "I just have creative insults and don't feel the need to use them." That and it had become a habit not to cuss in front of kimi before we came to the village.

"Well could you at least not be so brutal on her." He sighed while picking his daughter up and instructing one of the passing clan members to help her to her room for some rest.

I blinked at him confused "this is how Pa does it. and unlike him I'm not hitting her back" that was true, though I did shoved her occasionally when she was off balance just to prove I was right, I never really bothered hitting her as she does enough damage on her own. "Besides it's not my fault she refuses to take good advice."

"Speaking of which..." Inoichi-sensei said with an odd look in his eyes. "Any further phycology for the day has been pushed off. Go home, I've heard Ibiki was determined fully functional after weeks of therapy and the nurses were more than happy to be rid of him."

Perking up I quickly deciphered what part of that statement and bolted for the door with one last chuckle from my phycologist as I shouted at the top of my lungs "PA'S HOME! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER."

Rushing down the market streets, not caring who I knocked over in the process, I left a trail of dust behind me. I had focused mainly on improving my speed this past month or so as my way of staying connected or "coping" with The loss of my Nii-san.

I was now up to Genin speed, which was impressed for my age, but I doubt I'll ever rely on my speed much. After all I was built for muscle and holding my ground not dashing off to deliver Intel.

Coming into view of the prison that marked my neighborhood I could just make out the screams of its residents as night was beginning to fall which ment it was morning for the inmates of traitors and criminals.

The house had been lonely the past month but I refused every offer the Naras made to stay with them. However despite all my best efforts to deny help from my friends clans I still ended up with by daily visits from Yoshino and a fridge full of Akimichi cooking.

Walking through the door of the house I beamed apon seeing a large pair of shoes in the front hallway my smaller set still collecting dust from lack of use beside them.

Moving into the main room I found Pa lounged on the couch with his feet on the table eating what some of the meatballs Choza had brought over last week. Jumping over the back of the couch I settled in next to him and clung to his side, Heather of us saying a word but my joy was all to obvious by the scared smile adorning my face.

"Oi brat." Pa broke the silence after a few minutes "ya think if we keep quiet about my release we can get more of these Akimichi meat balls. "

I laughed " too late for that. Yamanaka-sensei already knows so I assume the rest of the ino- shika-cho clans are very well informed" I smirked and moved from my position under his arm onto the kitchen for some dinner of my own. " And If you haven't noticed we have enough home cooked meals to last us the next year. Not Including what goes bad in the process. "

My head stuck in the fridge looking for something good to eat I didn't see Pa stand up until he was at my side. Looking up at him in confusion I felt his large hand get placed on my head messing up my childish pigtails.

A sloppy grim crossed his face as he looked down at me, revealing the new scaring on his neck that hadn't been there a month before. "I missed you too kid. "

"Well I'm glad we're on the same page then hu Pa."
