In this chapter we meet Shikaku Nara.. ever need girl or dating advice he's your man.. lol sorry but we all know it's true.

Here we where. Walking down the street away from the academy on our way to rub a losing bet in the faces of the T&I gremlins .

Ok let me say that again. Pa was walking, I got bored and was swinging off his arm, then moving to his back for a while, then off his neck, before swinging myself up and comming to rest on top of his large shoulders.

As I played with his bandanna he grumbled something out about how they better not have set up a betting pool. That's when Choza called out from behind us as we where passing through the trade market.

"Ibiki it's good to see you" the large man called."I was just on my way to your department"

"Ah Choza, yes I remember you brought in an enemy shinobi earlyer this afternoon." Pa nodded twards him. Choza came and walked in step beside us.

"Hello again Yuko-chan, what are you doing out of class so early?"

"You know eachother? " Pa budded In before I could respond.

Choza explained so I didn't have too. He seemed perfectly happy doing so "yes I made a stop to visit my son not long after I returned. It seems they have befriended eachother." He chuckled almost as if he had a plan... what's he thinking. " Even shikamaru put up with her.. which is suprizeing sence she's a girl" he added as an after thought.

Pa Stopped in his tracks,causing me to jurk a bit in my position. Choza did the same a few steps away looking back at us confused.

I was soon lifted up off my perch and held a few feet off the ground so my face was level with Pa's as he held me by my armpits, a suprized expression on ibiki.

"You mean to tell me you actually made a friend..." He blinked a few times, not believing it.

"YA I KNOW.. it suprized me too" I laughed a bit. Next thing I knew I was being thrown threw the air and caught again.

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner..." he exclamed in what I assumed to be genuine happy ness.. before looking a bit disappointed in himself " to be honest I never thought you'd actually get a friend. Let alone on your first day... must be because of my awesome parenting skills" Pa bragged

"Ya you keep telling yourself that Pa." I deadpanned getting placed onto his back.

"Soooooo.."Choza blinked " Why she out of school early?" He completely ignored the conversation, Desiding to question ibiki about it later.

"Oh she's going to help me teach my subordinates a lesson." Pa stated adjusting me on his back so I wouldn't drop. "No one believed I had a daughter. Even shikaku demands proof"

"Well yes it is a bit hard to believe. If I hadn't met her beforehand I would have never believed it" he chuckled "However that's no reason for a child to be skipping out on class"

" it is if there's bet money involved "

"Well I guess there's no getting to you" the large man sighed before turning to me "looks like you'll be meeting a old friend of mine from the Nara clan."

"Nara?" I questioned thoughtfully " like shikamaru? " all he did was smile.

"Yes.. shikamaru's Father to be edzact."

We came upon the T&I HQ, passing our house on the way so I could drop off my bag, and with major Morino style desided it was a good idea to be dramatic and went in threw Pa's office window... it was fun having him walk up the wall to it with me on his back.. I hung onto his shoulders tightly and laying limp, pretending to be his superman cape as he impossibly defied gravity.

I wonder if this is how namu- oh sorry I mean kakashi gets his hair like it is.. just standing on a wall reading his little orange book for hours or even days on end? I mentally mused

Choza went threw the main door like a normal person, that way he could begin giving his mission report to one of the people at the front desk. So we wouldn't be seeing him for a while.. or unless things turn out bad enough pa needed to step in. I don't want to think of that...

With that he walked down into the break room as If he had just spent the better part of the day doing paperwork. Me still clinging to his back just hidden by his large build.
The door swung open as his foot made contact... what's with me and my new family opening doors without hands? I thought curiously.

"Oh hey sempai, where you been all day"

"Comming up with a new BS story to tell us so he dosent have to admit to lieing about having a kid.." on of the others joked

"Now now I'm sure he was doing somthing of utmost importance.." a yawn came in the middle of that statment. "I honestly don't know how you stand doing so much work in one day." A lazy voice that reminded me a bit of shikamaru just a bit deeper in tone came to Pa's defense.

"Well... " Pa started off " your close... but not quite on the mark" he ignored the lazy voice guys statment.

"Oh.. please I would LOVE TO here it" came the sarcastic reply

"It was the kids first day of school so I figured I'd go pick her up a bit early see how things went well I had some free time " he shrugged causing me to move with the gesture.

"Your STILL on about that.. just drop the act already"

However lazy guy.. who I assume to be the Nara Choza spoke about, shika's Dad, inturupted "geez ibiki.. you taking up weight training. . What's that on your back " oh so he must have notaced me when Pa shrugged.

"OH" Pa said spinning around trying to look at me over his shoulder and failing .. alowing the Gremlins to take note of my presence. I giggling at Pa's dog like action "so you haven't managed to fall off yet.. I'm impressed.. I guess that mean I owe you a box of dangos"

"Ya you do " I smiled jumping down from his back, arms sore from being stuck in that position for so long. Well that was before I saw everyone staring at me, and retreated back behind Pa's leg just peeking out, curious as to how they will react.

They seemed froze in shock.. so pa gently kick me catching my attention "hey squirt introduce yourself "

"I-I'm Yuko.. n-nice to meet you " I spoke up best I could. Still self conscious from my day at the academy.

Pa looked at me in thought "we are going to have to work on those people skills of yours"

I scoffed and mumbled "ya like you have room to talk"
