CHAPTER ELEVEN

"Aaliyah, you are suffering from Traumatic Amnesia." our family doctor said. I don't know what should I feel about this but one thing is for sure THEY ALL LIED TO ME. "Dr. Raymond, you knew about this all along right? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked while forcing myself not to cry. I hate crying 'cause I'm just going to look like a fool. "Sorry Aaliyah. I promised your parents not to mention anything to you. But now that it come to the stage that it's all going back little by little, I don't have any choice but to tell you. You deserve to know it. I'll just say sorry to your pare-" I cut him off saying "No. Don't tell anything to my parents. Don't tell them that I already knew it. Please? Please Dr. Raymond?" I pleaded at him like a 5 years old child. He smile and nodded at me. As I turn my heels, Dr. Raymond suddenly spoke "If you really want to have your memories back, you should also open up your heart. Not just your brain but also your heart. Don't just recall the happy moments you had but also recall the bad memories you had. Don't push it away 'cause it's the first step to regain all those memories you had in the past."

I woke up early and that shocked both of my parents. "Oh, honey. Good morning. You’re unusually early today. Got plans in the morning?" my mom said wiggling her eyebrows. "Good morning mom, good morning dad." I said. My mom smiled at me while my dad also greeted me in return. We ate our breakfast in silence. My mom broke the awkward silence "Are you okay sweetheart?" she asked me. I looked up to her as I recalled the conversation I had with Dr. Raymond yesterday. THEY ALL LIED TO ME. "Not really." I said coldly. "I have to go now. Goodbye mom, goodbye dad." I kissed them before going out.

I don't really plan on going to school today. Therefore, I went to my favorite carnival and stroll for a while. I turned my cell phone off and ignored the world as I sat putting my headphones on.

Damn. Why isn't she answering her phone? I need my coffee right now. "Hey, Jeno what's wrong?! You've been sulking early in the morning." Aaron said in annoyed tone. I gave him my signature death glare and that shut him up. I kept calling her phone but it always go to voice mail. "Oh, yeah. I heard that Michael's going back this week." my brother Jacob stated as a matter of fact. "Really?! When?!" Aaron asks in a high pitch tone. Sometimes Aaron is irritating especially when he uses that high-pitched voice. "Yeah, I also heard about it." Nathan our leader and Lucas said in unison. I interrupted them saying "Hey, Jacob cover me to our manager for today. I need to go to school." The three of them exchanged looks "Since when did you like going to school, Jeno?" Nathan asks. I just ignored his sarcastic comment when Jacob said "Sure. But can you also cover me up in school?" I turned in his way and nodded.

I'm still calling that girl's phone but it's still off. As I step outside the building, I realized something. Urgh! Why do I worry so much about that girl? No! No! It’s just- then jolts when I heard my phone rang. I thought it was her but it wasn't.

Caller: Michael

Jeno: Hey, what's up?

Michael: Good. How about you?

Jeno: Same as always.

Michael: Same as always huh?

Jeno: By the way,  I heard that you're now going back here? Already found her?

Michael: No. I couldn't find her. How about you? Have you found the pretty girl you've helped before?

Jeno: Nah, she's just somewhere looking also for me.

Michael: Whatever dude. Whatever.

Jeno: So, when are you coming back?

Michael: I'm back since last week.

Jeno: Why didn't you tell us, you jerk!

Michael: Wow. Look who’s talking.

Jeno: Then if you're back where are you?

Michael: It's a secret for now. Okay I got to go.

                                                                                       *Call Ended*

Well that's my best friend. I've been friends with him ever since we were ten. He went back to Japan to find the girl he likes. Unfortunately, his love life is a bit complicated. He likes the wrong person. He thought that the girl who saved him back then was that girl (the wrong person). But in reality, the girl who saved her back then was no one other than his childhood friend. And here’s the thing, his childhood friend and the wrong girl he used to like had the same nickname. Cliché right? Well, he's an idiot for realizing it just now.

I, on the other hand just saved a girl in a car accident back then. I visited her everyday to check up on her. She's been in coma for about 1 month. When I visited her the next day, I heard at the nurse station that she lost all of her memories. She doesn't remember anything at all. When I asked the nurse where she is right now, they told me that she went back to their country. The nurse said that she forgot to give the girl's locket so she gave it to me instead.
