CHAPTER ONE

Present day...

"Aaliyahhhh!!!" Ashley and Gabriella called my name while Kaylee just smiled at me. I turned to look at them but ignored them after. They dragged me inside the classroom and make me sit still in my chair. "So... How was the vacation?" Gab said making her eyebrows go up and down. "Ash, told me that you met someone." I knew something was up because of the way they were acting and putting that devilish smile. I ignored them once again and ready my things for the first subject.  "Hey, we all know that you're not a morning person but spill it out! We won't let you escape this time!" Ash said making that evil smile on her face wider. "Could you please... Just one hour. Just give me this one hour to.." I said. I'm not really a morning person and they all knew that so Kaylee being my lifesaver told them "Okay girls, just shut up for a moment and give her time to cool before she goes to all of the details."

It was already snack time. I know time flies too fast. I quickly run out of the room before Ash, Gab, and Kaylee caught me but I failed to do so. "You thought were going to let you escape just like that huh, princess?" Ash said. "Well, this is the time for you to tell us every detail." Gab and Kaylee said in unison. I don't have the energy to fight back with them so I surrendered "What do you guys want to know?" Ash and Gab squeak like 5 years old kids while Kaylee just smile. "We wanted to know who was the lucky guy?" Ash said. "How did you meet him? Did you get his name? How about his number? Did you ask where is he from? Is he handsome? Or Is he hot? Is he-" Ash and Gab bombard me questions.

I sighed in disbelief "Hey, guys. Calm down. I can't answer all that questions at the same time." Gab raises her hand and asks if she can go first. I was hesitant at first 'cause I know she won't go easy on me but I agreed in the end.

"So, who was the lucky guy?" Gab asked excitedly. "Correction. Not a lucky guy but a JERK." I said bitterly specifying the word 'Jerk' . "Whatever. You're just being bitter because admit it, he's handsome and hot." I don't know why but I blush at the word handsome and hot. The three of them started laughing evilly after they saw me blushed as red as tomato. I shot them my famous death glare that everyone's was scared of . The two of them became silent as Kaylee cleared her throat and said "We're sorry. We just can't help it. But by the way, is he really that handsome and hot that you need to turn like a tomato?" she giggled.  

"I would admit that he is handsome and hot but I would never ever fall for a jerk like him." I stated it as a matter of fact. Gab wanted to protest but Ash and Kaylee stopped her. "We all know that falling in love is not your thing. But Aali, you should live up a little. You are a highschooler. You should open up to everyone sometimes. Actually they like you but they were afraid to approach you because you always have that cold front. You were known being the so called 'Ice Princess' because of that." Ash said while Kaylee and Gab agreed. "We are not pushing you to hang out with everyone but at least live a little. You deserve to be happy." Kaylee and Gab said. 

I process all Ash, Kaylee, and Gab said. Maybe they were right. Maybe I should live up a little. It's not that I don't want to experience love, it's just that I'm too scared to get hurt…
