Three years later
I carefully pull out the two roasts that I have in the oven and set them on the counter. It smells so good. Everybody else is outside enjoying the weather.
"Honey do you need help?" Dustin says from the doorway. He's wearing khaki shorts and a white t-shirt. He's still dreamy and completely hot. The wedding ring on his finger reminds me that no matter what he's always going to be mine.
[Flashback]
I look neverously down at my dress. The white material and lace looked beautiful and the vien matched it too.
I can't believe I'm getting married today. I think to myself.
We've been back from Itlay for a little more than 6 months. I wanted to wait until everything had settled down and we got Grace onto a schedule. Plus I wanted to be able to fit into a dress without all the baby wieght.
Dustin just wanted to fly to Vegas with everyone and get married. I actually didn't mind the idea. So here we are. I'm standing in a rented hotel. It's Mia and Ray's room. Dustin is downstairs somewhere with our daughter, probably pacing back and forth.
"Alright. Are you ready to go Emma?" Allie asks me.
I nod. I don't think I talk without puking, that's how neverous I am.
She hands me my bouqet and we leave the room. All of us girls fit into the elevator. They're all giggling and talking about how pretty I look and how cute Grace is. All I can do is breathe.
In and out, in and out. I take long steady breaths. The elevator stops and we step out. We walk down the long hallway to the little room that Dustin has rented for the service and celebration.
The girls all line up and Allie takes a peak at me one last time.
"You'll be fine honey." She whispers. She knows how scared I am.
The music starts and the girls start to walk down the aisle. Right before I walk down the aisle they shut the doors so Dustin can't see me and wait for here comes the bride through the sound system. It starts and they open the doors.
There he is. The man of my dreams. I start to slowly walk up the aisle. There are our family and closest friends. They all smile as I pass by. Tucker is standing next to Dustin. He's holds our sleeping daughter. I'm actually surprised she's still asleep. I finally reach Dustin. He take my hand in his. I stand up next to him and face him. I give Allie my flowers.
I don't remember what the pastor said up until our vows, the I dos and you may kiss the bride, I just remember staring at Dustin and getting lost in his eyes.
We celebrated at the reception because Dustin and I knew that we wouldn't be taking a honeymoon anytime soon. We had a pack to rebuild and a daughter to raise.
[End of Flashback]
"Yeah can you carry one of these out for me?" I ask. He nods and grabs pot holders.
"How are you feeling?" He asks.
"Okay. Better than this morning. I think I finally got that taste out of my mouth."
"Good. I was a little worried this morning. That's the worst I've ever seen it."
"Yeah but it's over now. So let's just enjoy." I tell him. We walked out to the patio.
Trey and Lincoln are running around while Sophia is snuggled up on her father's lap.
Sophia is Alex and Mary's daughter. She's two years old. Mary got pregnant after she returned to college. She finished her degree and they moved home. Alex was happy to be home and around family. He'd gotten into trouble a couple of time while they were away. He always said that bars aren't the place from him and Mary to go to anymore. Alex was neverous about becoming a dad. But what really scared him was the thought of losing Mary. Mary's pregnancy was a little complicated. She ended up on bedrest for most of it. Once Sophia was born, and Alex knew Mary was okay, he calmed down. Alex is absolutely in love with Sophia. She's his little princess. He spoils that little girl.
My Gracie is crawling all over her Uncle Tucker's lap. Tucker and Dustin are Grace's favorite people. Grace is a Daddy's little girl. Dustin spoils her to no end. But when she was sick a couple months ago, Dustin literally did anything she wanted. Which was mostly hold me daddy. Dusitn is an amazing daddy. Her little face just lights up when she sees him or her uncle Tucker. Grace has her uncle Tucker wrapped her fingers. All she has to do is cry and he's scooping her up and making her that she's okay.
Everyone is gathered at the patio table.
Ray has his arms wrapped around Mia. Mia is going to college to be a teacher. Ray is supporting her every step of the way.
Mary, Alex and Sophia are curled up together. Tucker and Allie are playing with Grace. For Tucker, he'd do anything for Allie and Grace. Dominic, Aleaha, Gianna, Niko, Riley and Analise are all visiting from Italy.
Ashlynne, my mom, is sitting at the end of the table with my father.
I just about had a heart attack when Dustin told me that my parents were actually alive. Dominic and I were to just happy to see them.
My mom was amazed that I have a baby and dad explained that he hadn't died but been kidnapped and held hostage by Mallory.
Mallory and Valco ended up dying in prison. Dustin and I don't have to worry about them anymore.
I smiled as I set the roast down.
"Alright what's going on?" Remi asked.
"I don't know you're talking about." I said.
"Emma you're all smiley ." Luke said. Luke admitted that he was blinded by his mother but my mom and dad have been helping him get back on track.
"Well if you must know, Dustin and I are having another baby."
Everyone just stared at us.
"Oh my god!" Mia exclaimed.
"Another baby?" Allie asked.
"Wait I thought you two were waiting until Grace was in school." Mary said.
"They're honeymoon babies." Dustin said.
"Wait babies?" Ray asked.
"We're having twins."
Everyone cheered. We all celebrated.
