F E L I C I T Y  sat with Harry and Gwen in Harry's living room, working on a project their chemistry teacher had assigned them. Since they had a field trip to Oscorp two days ago, they were suppose to research one of Oscorp's big discoveries and write or do a diorama. They chose to write a group paper. Everyone was assigned at least two lengthy paragraphs, except Gwen, who offered to write three.

Peter was supposed to meet them at Harry's place today, but he couldn't make it. Since their field trip, he hadn't been feeling very well.

Besides that, she didn't blame him for bailing on them. After all, he was bitten by a poisonous spider.

It's been three weeks since the arrival of Mary Jane. She's been nothing but sweet and kind towards Fel, which made it really hard to dislike her.

Lately, she's been busy fighting crime in her free time. News of her blew up quickly, and gained the attention of news reporters through out the city of New York. She hasn't thought of a name for herself yet.

"I hope Pete's okay," Gwen said, looking up from the document on her laptop.

"He'll get through it," Harry reassured her.

"Don't worry about him, Gwen," Fel told her friend. "I checked on him when he got back from the doctor yesterday morning. He's fine."

Gwen nodded and continued to work.

The three of them were working peacefully until Harry asked, "Are either of you going to the winter dance?"

"I haven't really thought of it," Gwen answered, but Fel was the exact opposite. It's all she's been thinking about for the past days. She turned to Fel. "Are we still on for dress shopping this weekend?"

"Definitely," Fel confirmed. "I'm probably going to the dance too. I'm not sure yet."

"I'll be back, I'm getting us snacks," he said, walking out of the living room into the kitchen.

"I should go help him," Gwen sighed. She left too, leaving Fel by herself.

She pulled out her phone and went through her contacts, eventually finding Steve's name. She clicked on his name, pushed the little call icon, and held her phone against her ear.

It rang for a few seconds before there was an answer. "This is Steve," answered the super soldier.

She approached the nearest window, looking down at the street below. "Hi Steve."

There was a slight pause for a second. "Hey Fel," he said, instantly recognizing her voice. "Aren't you suppose to be in school?"
