T H R E E weeks had passed since the bodega near her apartment was robbed. She followed the case with the NYPD police logs online and monitored it since the incident. The man was arrested for attempted armed robbery and was awaiting his jury trial.

She was in gym class with Peter, Harry, and Ned. Unfortunately for the four of them, they shared this class with Flash and a few other awful classmates. It was pouring outside, meaning they had to stay indoors.

Thankfully, it was the last block of the day. She was looking forward to going home.

Currently, they were choosing teams for dodgeball, and Flash was one of the head captains. Harry was the other captain, mainly because no one else volunteered and was athletic.

"Vinny," Flash said.

"Cindy," Harry listed.

"Felicity," Flash smirked, clearly happy to irritate Harry, because he knew he was going to pick her next.

She moved to the other side of the court where her team would be as they both continued to rattle off names.

Soon, their teacher ordered them to touch the wall while the dodge balls were placed in the center of the court.

"On yours marks," said their gym teacher, Mrs. Schmidt. "Go!" She blew the whistle, and each of her classmates raced to either get a ball, or to avoid being hit.

Those adventurous and brave enough to get hit, were at the center of the court, while those who didn't want to participate, were found in the back.

Felicity found herself in the middle, wanting to be active, but didn't really care to play. After all, she hated this forced athleticism she was required to partake in.

She allowed a ball to hit her arm and eliminate her early in the game, and moved to sit next to Harry and Ned on the sidelines where she could just watch.

"I want to go home," Ned sighed. "I'm so ready to hang out this weekend."

"What's happening this weekend?" Harry asked, leaning against the bleachers.

"Dude," Ned started. "We're going ice skating tomorrow?"

"We've been planning this for weeks now," Fel reminded, turning her attention back to the game.

Most of Harry's team was out; their team was almost entirely gone except three people. Blake, Peter, and Cindy.

In all honesty, she couldn't comprehend how Peter remained in the game for so long. It was probably because he blended in well and could go by unnoticed normally.
