Chapter 3- New family

Last time:

We walked into the mall,everything seemed normal to me at first,we went to several stores,Seri-chan was picking out clothing for me since i didn't mind what i wear,as long as they are black,white or red,Tatara wondering around the store as Seri-chan was trying to convince me to try on some different colours,after a while I finally gave in and agreed,for a second,she looked like a child opening her present on Christmas,Tatara ran over and asked if i finally gave in,Seri-chan told him I finally gave in,He cheered and started talking about all the combination that'll probably look good on me,I chuckled as I looked around,While she set clothe on my lap for me to go try,I saw a man in some sort of mask that looked like a motorcycle helmet, my eyes widened as I recognized that helmet,It was a JUNGLE member.

"Watch out!"I called,but it was too late,the explosive bird was already thrown at us...

Now:

*Saikumi's POV*

I was about to activate my aura that I had been hiding for a long time to create a shield that will protect us,but instead,Seri-chan used her blue aura and created a shield,I blinked in surprised as Seri-chan wanted to chase after.

"There is no use,they are gone already"I said,wheeling myself to her,I peered out,and I was right,they green clansmen were gone already,I sighed pulled Seri-chan back to Tatara.

"Are you ok Kumi-chan?"I nodded and smiled at him,I looked up at Seri-chan.

"Thank you for saving us"I said as we went to the front cashier,who seemed dumbfounded by what had happened,we paid and left the store.

~Time Skip~

"Bye Seri-chan!Thank you for today!"Tatara called as Seri walked back into Scepter 4 HQ,Tatara and I waved our good bye as we turned around,now walking back to HOMRA.

"Today was really fun,wasn't it Kumi-chan?"Tatara asked,I nodded in agreement and smiled,seeing the bar was now in sight.

"This is my first time going on a shopping spree,especially with another girl"I commented as Tatara closed my wheelchair and helped me up the stairs,I opened the door as we stepped inside.

"Tadaima!"We both called as we walked in,I looked around,noticing some other people staring at me like I'm an alien from outer space,I looked at Tatara,who is now holding a camera in his hand,recording this,I then looked at Mikoto,who was asleep on the couch,I shook my head and pushed up my glasses as the awkward silence remained.

"So how was shopping today Kumi-chan?"I looked to see Izumo polishing a wine glass,while looking up and smiling at me,I returned a small smile.

"It was good.Thank you"I replied as I heard a sound of someone clicking their tongue,I looked around the bar and saw a boy with messy black hair and blue eyes,with a pair of black framed rectangle glasses,sitting rather bored at the end of the bar counter,I heard someone coming downstairs as I saw Anna,running to me.

"Anna~"I extended my arm as she ran to give me a hug,I gently embraced the little girl and let her sit on my lap as I looked around once more to see many boys staring at me like I'm an alien,I chuckled as I introduced myself.

"Hello,I'm Saikumi Suoh"I said taking a pause before continuing"His sister"I finished,pointing at now awaken Mikoto,then one by one,gasps could be heard.

"Mi-Mikoto-san!You have a sister??!"Someone exclaimed,I turned to see a tall young boy with a black baseball hat,a pair of black sunglasses,and a hoodie with its hood pulled over the hat,Mikoto grunted and nodded,they all looked at Mikoto and back at me,I placed Anna gently back onto the ground and chuckled lightly.

"I haven't seen him since we were six!"I said as I threw my shopping bag at him,he grunted and easily caught it,he set it on the couch beside him.

Yata started speaking"So Saikumi-san,ar-"I cut him off.

"I go by Kumi"I said with a slight smile,He blushed and looked at the ground as he started talking again.

"S-Sorry,Ku-Kumi-san,S-So are y-you o-one o-of u-us no-now?"The room filled with laughter(at his stuttering)as he blushed even more.I shook my head,

"No,not yet"I said"It's only my second day here in Shizume city"I scratched the back of my head"You guys will have to forgive me for my poor Japanese too"

~Time Skip~

For the next 30 minutes,I was basically answering questions and getting to know my new family,I got to know Rikio,Chitose,Dewa,Fujishima,Bando and Saruhiko!They are all nice people,they were uncomfortable around me for a little while,probably because of Mikoto,but after that we got along well.

Anna sat on my lap as she ate a slice of cake that Tatara had prepared for her,Tatara was talking to Mikoto about today's attack,Mikoto only asked if I was ok and that was it,Izumo was talking to Saruhiko at the bar counter as the rest of the boys gathered around, chatting among themselves and sometime asking me questions.

"So,Kumi-san"Rikio asked as the room got quiet and the center of attention was on him"What happened to your leg?"He asked.

I was drinking a glass of water as he asked,I flinched as painful memories raced back into my mind,I smiled sadly and sighed.

"Y-You don't have to answer if you don't want to Kumi-san"Rikio quickly blurted out as Mikoto shot him a glare,I shook my head.

"It's fine"I said and laid back in my wheelchair"It all started when I was 5...."
