Twilight melted away as the sun rose up, signaling the start of a new day. The servants in the Suoh house are getting up and getting ready for a wedding.

Duke of Fire ,Lord Mikoto Suoh's younger sister, Kumi Suoh, is getting married today, to the Duke of Water , Lord Reisi Munakata.

"It's time to get up Miss, we have a long way to go today," A female servant gently shook Kumi, who was still fast asleep during this hour.

"I'm awake," Kumi said as she sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Please get the gown ready, I'll be over in a few minutes."

The servant nodded and back out of the gigantic bedroom. After a few minutes, Kumi got up, her flame-red hair dappled on the ground as she walked over to the dressing room, where the servants and maids are waiting.

"Miss, Lord Suoh said the wedding gown is too heavy, and the travel to Lord Munakata's territory will take at least two days by carriage, so we're only preparing the wedding gown to bring along on the trip."

"Thank you," Kumi said, letting the servants do her hair, as the servants tied them into a very loose fishtail braid, which, even with the braid, Kumi's hair is still touching the ground.

"Miss Suoh," Another butler came into through the door, "Everything in ready for travel."

"Thank you Yata, please report to my brother that I'll be there shortly." Yata bowed and left the room.

After changing into a nice silky gown, Kumi walked down the spiral staircase, finally getting to the front door, where, her older brother, had been waiting for her.

"Kumi," Lord Suoh came up to the young princess and took her by the hand, pulling in for a heart-warming hug, "Are you sure of this decision? That you are willing to marry him?"

"Yes brother, I know what I might be getting into, and I don't regret it," Kumi said, her eyes watering up, "Please take good care of yourself brother, I don't know if I'll be able to ever see you again aftering bidding goodbye."

Without a word, Lord Mikoto watched as Kumi carefully stepped onto the carriage, and left, with a large army trailing behind.

After two days of traveling, the group finally arrived at the crossing of the two territory, where, the Duke of Water, Reisi Munakata, was awaiting.

"Miss Suoh," A male voice called from outside, "We are here now."

Kumi stepped outside, in her wedding gown. She bowed slightly to Reisi, and turned to the group behind her. She whispered something to the guard and gave him a letter, before taking Reisi's hand and crossing over to the other side.

The two stayed there until Suoh's group of men has disappeared from sight. Kumi looked down at the ground, suddenly sad at the thought that she'll no longer wake up to her brother, smiling at her.

"Please don't be sad,"Reisi, who was watching his new wife, held her hand closely, "frowning doesn't suit you."

Kumi wiped her eyes and broke into a smile, "I won't be sad anymore, it'll just take some time to get used to when Mikoto isn't here."

"I'll be with you here from now on,"Reisi said, leading Kumi onto the carriage, "We are going to head over to the main church next to the castle, it won't take too long to complete the wedding, and then, I'll show you around our home, what do you think?"

Kumi nodded and thanked him. Reisi smiled and closed the door to the carriage. After a few moment, the carriage started moving, towards the castle.

The group arrived at the castle around sunset, after the couple has reached the church and exchanged vows, both now are married by the priest.

" My brother said that it was you who insisted on this marriage," Laying in bed with Reisi, Kumi rested her head on Reisi's shoulder, and asked.

"Well, I guess you don't remember," Reisi said, seeming to remembering a memory from long time ago, "It's a long story."

"I'm sure you don't remember anymore or you didn't notice, but I met you the first time six years ago, you were only twelve at that time. I remember clearly, watching you and your brother passing the castle during a trip to the mountains. That moment, I couldn't erase your face from my mind again."

Kumi blushed madly, "Is it...this room?"

Reisi smiled, and nodded, "This room was my study, but I changed it to our room. I even connected the room next to here to form a larger room."

"Its...It's getting so late... We should rest now..."

*Three month later*

"Reisi?" Kumi poked her head into the duke's study, in an attempt to to find her husband.

"Yes Kumi?" Looking up from his desk, Reisi gave her a gentle smile, "Is there something wrong?"

"No no! Nothing big, but," Kumi walked on inside and handed him an envelope, "It's from the Duke of the Forest, and the Duke of the Mist. I haven't opened it yet, so I wanted to bring it to you to let you see before hand."

Reisi frozen in his seat for a moment, then took the envelope from her hand, "Thanks Kumi. How are you feeling? Your health had become worse and worse these days. Is it because of the stress? I'm sorry for putting the task of organizing and in charge of the castle on you. Maybe we should take a trip to the mountains after this? That might help you calm down a-"

Kumi ran up to him and pressed her lips against his, stopping his words.

"Silly! I'm nowhere near the stress that is put onto you! I'll be fine, don't worry about it. Why don't you open the letter and see what it is about?"

Reisi nodded and he opened the letter in front of her. The letter contained two pieces of paper, one was a handwritten letter from the Duke of the Forest, and the other was an invitation. With a quick scan read, the letter was a brief invitation to a feast, organized by the Duke of the Forest and the Duke of the Mist.

"The letter said that family members are also welcomed." Reisi said, thinking for a moment, before grabbing Kumi's hand, "Would you like to go?"

"I mean, since he is inviting all the Dukes, maybe Mikoto will also be going?" Kumi said, her icy blue eyes shining with excitement.

"That's all set then. Can you prepare a present to the feast before next week? Sorry if it's adding more work for you."Kumi shook her head.

"There is nothing to be sorry about, this is what I could you at least to help you, when you are the one doing the most of the work." Reisi nuzzled her head.

"I'll get going then," Kumi smiled and planted a kiss on his forehead, "I'll see you at the lunch table later."
