Chapter 10- Basashi

"We can do that even without such a threat you know"Tatara said as he hit both of us on the head.

"Ek!"we yelped in unison as he rubbed our head.

"Shut up"Mikoto grunted"You two will take care of the newcomer,aren't you"we looked up and smiled at him.

"Of course!!"I cheered as I ran over to Eric and bear hugged him.

"Welcome to the family,Eric-chan!"

Now:

I yawned as I lied back on the couch,I'm currently taking the opportunity where Anna is currently not here to sharpen my knifes and Tessen (War fan),I heard the doorbell rang as I looked to see Anna and Kosuke,I quickly hid my knives back into their places and snapped my Tessen shut,I was about to say something,but Anna cut me off before I could talk.

"Izumo."She said,catching Izumo's attention,He looked up and blinked in confusion.

"What is it both of you?"

"Can we keep it?"She pleaded,making Izumo sigh.

"What is it this time? You're not going to tell me it's a human again right?"he sighed.

"No,it's not a human"She waited for a reaction from Izumo,but he gave none,So she tried again by giving him the puppy eyes,I chuckled,it reminds me how I used to plead to Mikoto and Rei-chan.

"...you,say something!"He said,looking at Tatara who was filming the current event.

"It's fine!I'll look after it too"Tatara said with a smile.

"It's not that...."Izumo whispered but give in.

"Oh well...if it's just one or two cats and dog..."He sighed as he opened the door,I got curious and walked over too...

But it wasn't any cats or dogs...

It. Was. A. Horse.

"WHAAAA??"

"WAIT A SECOND!!!"Izumo and I screamed in unison as My eyes widened.

"A HORSE?!WE CAN'T KEEP A HORSE!!!!PUT IT BACK WHERE IT BELONGS!!!"Izumo yelled as I stared in shock.

"But...But you just said that it's fine..."Anna said with her puppy eyes,looking like she was going to cry if he didn't agree,I opened my mouth to say something until I heard the stairs crack behind me,Mikoto slowly walked downstairs and took a seat on a bar stool, I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water.

"My head hurts....water"He whispered just as I came out,I chuckled and handed him the water,he paused for a moment before taking the water,I walked back out and petted the horse,Mikoto also noticed it.

"...Why is there a horse here?"

"That aside.How?Where did they get the idea to just pick up a horse..."Izumo grumbles"do we have no one but idiots here?"

"Now now,isn't it a good horse,It have such pretty furs!"Tatara said,trying to lighten up the tension.

"I don't need your comfort..."

"Mikoto"A small voice caught my attention as I sat at the counter with a glass of water,I took a sip and saw Anna holding a piece of paper that said "Name it",Mikoto thought for a moment as I took a another sip,just as he spoke.

"...basashi"He answered,making me spit out my water as I started coughing/choking,the horse and Anna looked like they just got struck by lighting.

"hehehe...What a sharp sense"Tatara commented
