Last time:
"So,Kumi-san"Rikio asked as the room got quiet and the center of attention was on him"What happened to your leg?"He asked.
I was drinking a glass of water as he asked,I flinched as painful memories raced back into my mind,I smiled sadly and sighed.
"Y-You don't have to answer if you don't want to Kumi-san"Rikio quickly blurted out as Mikoto shot him a glare,I shook my head.
"It's fine"I said and laid back in my wheelchair"It all started when I was 5...."
Now:
~Flash back~
"Onii-chan!Rei-chan!Look at thiiiiis!!"I screeched in joy as I did a cartwheel on on grass, then falling in the grass earning a chuckle from Reisi and a light smile from Mikoto.
"Be careful Kumi-chan"Reisi said as I stumbled onto my feet before running towards my older brother and my best friend.
"Let's go home Mikoto!"I called, grabbing him by his hands and waving goodbye to Reisi,we walked back home after school.
Even though I was 5,I am in grade 1,I had skipped a grade!Which I thought was really cool, but being the smallest kid in class could be inconvenient sometimes.
Mikoto and I finally arrived at our house as I pulled out my key from my book bag,I opened the door and let Mikoto in before closing the door and locking it,I set my book bag by the dinner table and went to the kitchen,it was really hot outside in the summer,So I decided to make some ice tea!I made some for me and some for Onii-chan,I walked back to the dinner table and set the mug in front of Mikoto,Who was actually doing his homework for once,I grinned at the site and pulled out my own homework,I scanned the page before answering some simple math questions,I took a sip of my tea and put away the paper before leaning in to Mikoto, who was clearly having trouble getting the right answer,I peered at the question,it was an algebra question, but an easy one,I dropped a few hints for him before leaving to clean the mess I've made in the kitchen,I walked back out just as Mikoto finished his homework,he give me a small grin and hugged me.
"Thank you for the tea"He said"And the answers"I chuckled and hugged him back.
The lock of the front door's lock turned as it opened, revealing our parents coming back from work,Mikoto and I bowed slightly towards them,
"Welcome home"We murmured in unison as our Dad grunted and our mother sighed,She came and picked up Mikoto and I.
"Just ignore your father,he is in a bad mood today "She whispered to us as I nodded in understanding "Go upstairs and play alright?"We nodded as she set us down,We ran upstairs to Mikoto's room

Mom called us down at dinner time,We were in Mikoto's room playing video games,We reached down stairs as I took a seat beside Mikoto.
"Itadakimasu!"We cheered before we started eating, our parents were having a conversation while Mikoto and I were just eating silently,
"Say Kumi-chan,Mikoto-chan!Friday is'take you children to work'day! So your father and I have decided to bring you two to work!"She said in a happy tone"I'll bring you Kumi-chan and your father will bring you,Mikoto-chan!"
"Ok!!!"We cheered,I looked at Mikoto and rolled my eyes before I leaned toward him before whispering,
"You are just happy that you could miss school"I whispered and I earned a light chuckle from him.
"You know me too well Kumi"
~Time skip~
"WAAAAKE UUUP"I screamed as I jumped onto Mikoto's bed,I shook him awake as he growled, grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and throwing me off of his bed,I landed on my feet threw him a shirt, his pants and socks,I make sure he wasn't going to fall asleep again before shoving him into the bathroom to change,I already got ready as I skipped happily down the staircase,I sat at the dining table as Mom set a plate in front of me,with a slice of toast, some scrambled eggs and bacon,I preferred this kind of breakfast than traditional Japanese dishes.
