Sarah's POV
I pulled up to Adaieh's house like a hour later. I left an unbelievable amount of voicemails and I'm sure that Andre did too. He isn't here yet so maybe he found her or something? I don't know.
I get out the car to see if maybe she'll be here but, I don't see any lights on. She couldn't have gone to sleep that fast. I started banging on the door and calling Adaieh's name just incase she is sleep. After about 5 minutes, I stopped. Only because I don't want Ms. Martinez to wake up. Or anybody else of that matter.
I sat down on her porch and sighed. This wasn't suppose to happen. We was suppose to be at the party, me getting drunk or laid while Adaieh do her and drive herself home after a while. I'm suppose to ask Andre to drive me home because he's gonna be smart enough to not drink knowing that Adaieh was there. Adaieh will be watching tv, waiting for me to come home. Then we'll go to sleep after I'm done throwing up and saying stupid shit. We was suppose to wake up, me with a killer headache and Adaieh getting me Advil to make them go away, then I'll say 'Happy Birthday'. We'll chill with Andre and wait til her momma came home-
Oh shit! Adaieh's momma! She went on a trip to New York thinking everything's gonna be alright but, when she come home she's gonna find out her daughter's missing! Fuck! I pray to God that Adaieh's alright and Andre found her.
Just at that moment, Andre's car pulled up in the driveway. I stood up as he got out fustrated. Not only did the face he was making gave it away but also the way his hair was standing up in all directions like he've been pulling at it.
"I couldn't find her." His voice was breaking at the end of the sentence.
"Oh God. Andre, what if-"
"No! Don't say 'what if'. We're gonna find her. She's gonna be okay, okay? We just need to t-think. Who do we know that Adaieh will go to?" He started pacing on the front lawn.
"I don't fucking know Andre! Maybe if you told her in the beginning this wouldn't be happening! Yeah she'll be mad at you but at least we would've worked things out and still be friends! This is your fault!"
"Don't blame this on me! I knew this was gonna hurt her so I didn't tell her-"
"Exactly! You should've told her! Apparently you're not listening because I just said this!"
"Why would I tell Adaieh that I was asking Becca, the person she hates, how to ask her out? That doesn't make sense now does it? Look, you're mad right now because you're worried, I get it. Hell, I am too but standing here blaming people isn't gonna get us any closer to her."
I took a deep breath. I need to calm down. I hate to admit it, but he's right.
"What should we do then? We can't file a missing person report yet, we have to wait 24 hours. I hate it but we got to."
He pulled at his hair again, trying to think. I want to cry so badly right now. I know that Andre said we'll find her but what if we don't. What if we're too late and she's... God, please keep her safe.
"Think. Just fucking think."
I was honestly about to give up right then and there until a person came into my head.
"What about Brian?"
He stopped pacing and looked at me.
"Brian?"
"Yeah. Adaieh do have a crush on him plus she was wearing his jacket."
"His jacket? Adaieh has a crush on Brian?"
I probably shouldn't said that part considering that he likes her.
"Yes, she was wearing his jacket. He gave it to her when we went shopping. I wasn't there when he did it but she told me. She said she was gonna give it back to him at the party."
