Through the Woods

Me and my dad got everything set up. I had a backpack with my personal items in it. There were four huge bags that were placed in the car. One for my clothes, another for my dad clothes, th third one was for food and the last one was filled with drinks.

I had some food for Ralph in my backpack and i got him a do leash because i didn't want to lose him in the woods. I couldn't leave him behind in the house because he would starve to death or break the glass doors either and run loose.

When we were getting into the car. Bella (my bestfriend) came running asking where we were going. She was very shocked when she met my father because I didn't tell her he was alive and his story. After i finished telling her about 'how i met my father', she insisted on tagging along and she was very stubborn so i couldn't say no.

We made sure that the car was filled with gas. I sat infront with dad, I was carrying ralph and Bella sat in the back with the bags.

On our way through the woods, Dad recognized some of the places. So we were going on until we reached the place where he left my mom and siblings there all alone. He looked very guilty.

When we all got out of the car, I went around the place dragging Ralph with me. He started running so i ended up running with him until he stopped next to this small cave. When i looked inside, I saw a small bunny. I instantly remembered it! It was Rosie's favorite stuffed animal. A tear ran down my cheek as i held the bunny.

It was almost sun-set so we got back into the car to find somewhere safe to sleep in. We found this cave that was on the ground and it was wide enough for the car to enter it so we could sleep in the car. I tied Ralphs leash next to this huge stone, so he could sleep well, the car wasn't comfy for him.

Hours passrd and we woke up before sun-rise, ate our breakfast quickly while I went to feed Ralph but I was shocked when i found him missing. I instantly panicked because even though he was just my pet, he meant alot to me and is very special.

I looked around, searching for him, until he came back running. I was very glad but he was much bigger and the collar was bigger too. It had this big red heart and in the heart, there were five holes but in one of the holes there was this beautiful pink gem placed.

I showed it to dad and Bella as they were both shocked but we didn't have time to lose so we went on with our journey.

I kept looking at Ralph's collar and noticed there was something new too, my name that was in silver, the first two letters were in blue now. When i looked at it for a long time, I realized that Ralph was staring at me too.

Ralph's eyes were Goldish but the scary thing was i could see them Blue now. His eyes sometimes change with his mood. I memorized them as:

Mad ----> Red
Sad ----> Black
Happy ----> Purple
Jealous ----> Green
Sleepy ----> pink
When i say something stupid ----> Yellow

So blue was a new color to the list, maybe he's afraid and when i thought of that I swear i saw him nod his head, How the hell? Did he just read my mind? Or was it a coincidence? His eyes turned yellow, which means he read my mind. That was too creepy but his eyes turned blue again, ' A shade of light blue' and now i knew he was afraid but of what i wonder?.

My dad stopped the car as soon as he saw the shadow of someone.....
