A/N: This chapter and hopefully all of the coming chapters are from Emma's point of view.

As I woke up from a weird dream, I found Bella wide awake reading a book. I checked the time and the clock read 3:15 am.
There was a glass of water on my night stand, so I took a sip and was drifted in thoughts. The water was still in my mouth so I let my tongue slowly swim around and that's when i noticed it. Water is so tasteless, colorless yet, it still has an important role in a humans' body. Maybe that's how life works, the things we find meaningless, worthless are the things we need the most but we realize that when it's too late.
My thoughts were cut off as soon as i heard glass shattering. I sat up realizing the whole room was shaking as books fell from their cupboards, vases fell from the tables but I didn't even move an inch.
Though the howling sound of the wind mixed with the roaring of the thunderstorm made the matter worse, I sat silently as I watched through the window the dark clouds slowly joining with each other becoming a large coat to the sky. Small rain drops briskly falling from the sky causing all the streets, houses and stores to be completely drenched in water. As i looked up, I noticed small cracks forming at the edge of the roof as water droplets leisurely forced their way through the cracks into the room.
It felt like it all happened in a nanosecond, the cracks grew wider as bigger water droplets came flooding creating giant waves of water crashing all around the room. Taking a closer look, I could see bodies that seemed so real that i almost reached out my hand to make sure if they were but the strangest thing was that the water never touched me. I could see it around the room, around me but I couldn't feel it.
"Emma, Emma" I heard someone screaming as they violently shook me causing all the scenario that just happened to fade away as if it was a dream. "Emma wake up it's happening again!" Screeched the person inside my ear causing me to.. wake up. It took me a while to register my surroundings realizing i was sweating and my heart beats were increasing as i took quick breathes.
I noticed Bella was sitting next to me, staring at me with worried eyes. "This is becoming worse and it's freaking me out" Bella sighed obviously frustrated. "It's just a nightmare" I waved her off. "It's not a nightmare! Your eyes were open and it's kind of creepy" She said as her voice was slowly rising. "It is normal. My nightmares used to happen the same way when I was a kid" I said assuring her but that was a lie.
I, myself was scared because whenever me and Bella move to a different state. My nightmares always end up getting closer to the end. At first, it was just the rain and the thunderstorm, then it was the tiny cracks and the water waves but today I could see the bodies which was actually creepy.
I don't think I'll tell Bella because something seems off with her. As if she knows something but she's hiding it from me. I glanced up watching her fix up her bed. "Hey what's the time?"
"It's 6:07 am so get up and get ready because it's your first day of school" she said as she walked towards the bathroom leaving me to pick an outfit for the day.
