How It Started

Decades ago....

Long ago, Jannet Matthews had an older sister, her name was Wanda. Wanda grew up to be an amazing, beautiful girl whose parents loved her. Everyone adored her, she was pretty, smart, lovely, caring and kind. Wanda was the perfect angel.

One day, she was wandering around a forest next to their house and she stumbled upon a little housr. She entered it and looked around curiously. She found alot of potions on wooden cupboards and a round wooden table with a large book on it. The title of the book read 'The Magical Wonders'. She thought it was only a book for kids (she was wrong).

She found this bluish drink in a clear cup with decorations on it. It wad placed on a cushioned pillow that was also blue. Since she loved the color blue very much she went up to it to get a closer look and it smelled amazing so she wanted to try it.

Her parents taught her to never venture into strange places but she couldn't help herself. She drank it all at once but something weird happened. She felt a change but decided to ignore the feeling.

She returned home and pretended nothing happened. Her parents were worried, "Why were you so late? Where did you go honey?" Her mother looked so worried. "You scared your mother, she was very worried. She thought something happened to you" Her father said with a worried look but a flicker of anger in his eyes.

"Mother Father, I'm alright and alive. I was wandering around the forest and i didnt realize it eas getting late, I'm so sorry" Wanda said apologetically.
"You shall never go to the forest again" Her father replied to her.

She was so angry and went inside. When she opened the door, the door flew away and fell close to her parents.

She realized that she had powers. She just stood there shocked.

Her parents were really afraid of her and she ran to her room crying and scared of what just happened.

The second day, they apologized to her and took her to a man of wisdom and knowledge. She told him the story. He knew what happened to her was a curse and told them that there was no cure to the curse. "Its a - a curse??" Wanda looked surprised as she asked. "Oh dear, of course its a curse. A wizard put the potion on a house in the middle of the forest because he knew you wander around it and the fact that you're very curious. Your favorite color is blue and the pillow and the potion are blue andit smelled amazing just like you told me so why wouldnt you drink it??" He replied with a weak smile. "But.... I can teach you how to control it".

They agreed that Wanda would have classes with him two times a week until she learns how to control it. To be honest, she was very frightened but she acted as if its something natural because her parents were worried and she wanted to be stronger for them.

As time passed, She learned how to control her powers. Her parents started to feel safe around her and everything slowly went back to normal.

She learned to use her powers for good like healing her parents if they got hurt or fixing something but no one knew about her powers except fot her mom, dad and the man of wisdom.

Wanda got used to her powers. She was well aware that she shouldn't use them except for good and only for her parents because people may not accept her for who she became. But when she saw a kid got hurt or something broken it was very hard not to help, she was a caring kid.

One day, she came back from school humming and singing because she had great news. When she entered the house, she found her mom and dad with huge smiles on there faced but she ignored it because she wanted to tell them her news.

"Mother, Father. I have good news! They gave us an exam today and i got the best mark on it. They are also taking us on a try and i have to go, we have to go" Wanda says excitedly.

"Im so proud of you honey, Mother has amazing news to tell you too" Her father replied with a smile. "Oh dear, you always make me proud of you. May god bless you" Mother says grinning.

"So, Mother. What is the news??"
"After 8 months, you are going to have a sibling. I just found out i was pregnant for a month and you are going to have a brother or sister dear" she smiles like crazy.

"Wow, Mother! That's the best news ever. I'd have someone to play with and teach increadible stuff to and we would be bestfriends" Wanda said enthusiastically.

Months past and Wandas' mother gave birth to the most beautiful baby ever. She had golden hair and light blue eyes. She was a perfect child. Way prettier than Wanda which made Wanda a little jealous because everyone gave her sister more attention now. Wandas' mother named the baby Jannet because she loved the name.

Wanda was jealous of Jannet. So jealous because Jannet grew up to be smart and better than Wanda. Her parents loved Jannet more because Jannet didn't have powers. Wanda thought of her sister as a threat and she wanted to have revenge on her family for liking someone more than her so she....
