Topics of child abuse and self-harm have always interested me. Its something real and serious and I feel like the message is a good one.

I feel like the stories on child abuse and those real life issues are important because they tell a different type of message than normal books.

There's not always a happy ending.

I did my Social Studies Fair Project on the topic of child abuse and the what I found was horrifying. People push their kids too much, then beat them when they're not more than perfect.

The world we live in is a monstrous place, but I believe there is hope to turn it around. Maybe not perfect, but close.

I just wanted to let you guys know why I wrote this, and why I changed the ending.

If y'all have any questions about the book you can either leave a comment or pm me.

That's it.
