I never planned on falling in love,
But I can never say that it was a mistake.
Loving you was a river during spring,
Loving you was as gentle as a mother's touch,
It held the beauty of a rose,
but the pain of a thorn.
I thought the end wouldn't come so soon;
That was until loving you was like a hurricane,
Sitting in a storm begging for it to end
Then again you don't want the love to end;
Because at the end of a storm:
there's a rainbow,
There's a peak of sunlight,
A glimmer of hope,
We just couldn't find it;
We got lost in the storm
Pulled apart by the winds,
But not put together the same.
It's just gonna be different,
But until we see that rainbow
I know we won't be the same.
