Remember those walls
I told you about?
Yeah the ones you unknowingly
tore down so quickly.
I guess I should have known
you tearing them down
was only temporary.
Only just to take a quick look
then leave me with the mess
you've so perfectly made.
In the time that I've known you
you've managed to work your way through those towering walls.
Never thinking twice.
That's what drove me wild.
You kept pushing through
Then once you were in,
you desperately want to leave.
Why did you do that?
Can you choose to be in or out?
Because I have to reuse
those stones you tore away.
Now every time I rebuild those walls
when you run
All that's left
are these tiny pebbles
that will crumble at the slightest touch.
