“Woah! Someone’s on edge today. Sorry sweetie, but I figured we could just go back to my cabin since everyone else will be coming back from archery soon. I don’t want an eleven year old to walk on in us old timers kissing.”

“Twenty is not old! I thought you were going to talk about something else.”

“And what might that something else be?” Percy responded as he twirled a lock of Annabeth’s hair in between his fingers.

“Oh, don’t you worry your seaweed brain about it,” she said tapping Percy’s nose as she got up from her spot on the bed. Annabeth sauntered over to the door with a bounce in her step to match her springing curls. Sometimes Percy just liked to watch her do things. She was so perfect, smart and funny and it baffled him that he ended up getting her as his girlfriend. Percy couldn’t believe many things such as why he was still alive today or why pizza tasted so good, especially with blue Coke. But the thing that got him most was why after knowing all the good and bad about Percy is why someone would still continue to put up with him. The couple knew the deepest secrets and darkest moments of each other. Percy could proudly say that there were absolutely no secrets in their relationship… well, more like 99% of the time there were no secrets. Just that thought about the one secret made Percy anxious becau—

“Hey!” Annabeth’s jubilant voice cut through his thoughts, “When you are done fantasizing about my body do feel free to come and meet me at your cabin, okay?” Percy smiled, jumped off the bed and walked over to Annabeth who was leaning on the doorframe. The afternoon light shone behind Annabeth, making light reflect off her glowing hair. Gods, she was beautiful. Together the two walked hand and hand across the camp lawn of Camp Half Blood. A light breeze brought the sweet scent of the strawberries from the fields. If one listened closely, the melodious sound of the satyr’s pipes played a light tune to encourage the growth of the plants.

Halfway to the cabin, the couple noticed a small figure kneeling by the campfire that was placing sticks in a teepee formation. Percy and Annabeth looked at each other with a mixture of shock and happiness and began to walk to the campfire. As grass turned to gravel, the crunch of their shoes on the ground made the figure look up.

“Hello again,” started the little girl, “What brings you two to the campfire so early?”

“We just wanted to say hi, Hestia. We haven’t seen you for weeks!” Annabeth said.

“It is but godly business. Besides a week is to me as the blink of an eye is to you.” Hestia said as she stared at the two hard making both of them a bit uncomfortable.

“We know, but we missed you!” Annabeth said as her hand fidgeted in Percy’s indicating her discomfort.

Percy attempted to help by saying, “A lot has happened since you have been here last. Like Grover lead a grou—“

Suddenly, Hestia’s lips formed an ‘Oh’ and she clutched her head as if she were getting some telepathic message, “Oh, great! It looks like I have to go. Sorry kids. We will rendezvous later. See you!”

“Bye!” Both of the demigods responded as Hestia winked and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Annabeth and Percy turned to look at each other.

“Umm. What was that all about?” Percy said.

“I have no idea. And why the wink?”

            “Whatever. Just forget about it.”

“Yeah. Sure,” and the couple continued on. Finally, they reached the coral blue cabin that was home to the one alive demigod child of Poseidon. Percy threw open the door and dragged Annabeth inside. The coral fountain in the middle of the room reflected throughout the cabin causing watery reflections everywhere. Hung from the ceiling was different metal ocean life that Tyson had made many years ago.

As the door closed behind them Annabeth murmured, “Ooh. Someone finally cleaned up,” gesturing the oddly clean cabin.

“Hush wise girl,” Percy whispered as he lightly pushed Annabeth against the wall and began to kiss her. Annabeth snaked her arms around Percy’s neck and Percy grabbed her around the waist.

The kiss intensified with hands moving everywhere. The two broke apart for air and Annabeth jumped up and hooked her legs around Percy’s lower back. Percy pressed Annabeth harder into the wall and the kiss deepened further and their tongues explored.

Percy began to trail kisses down Annabeth’s neck and she leaned her head back while moaning, “Oh gods.”

Annabeth’s hands found their way to Percy’s hair and began to play with it until Percy came back up and they kissed even more. The two had lost all recognition of the existing outside world. All that mattered was them two and their steamy kissing. Percy’s fingers inched under her shirt, lifting up the fabric slightly. Annabeth moaned in Percy’s mouth and tightened her grip around Percy.

Boom! Suddenly the door burst open.
