Chapter 6

Jims pov
The next day, I went to school. I didn't want to but my mother forced me. Whoopie! I met up with Toby. He seemed really excited about something.
"Jim! Jim! Jim, Jim, Jim!" He called over while running over to me. He attempted to dodge people but that didn't work to well.
"Hey, Tobes. What's up?" I say.
"Welcome back to prison!" He says smiling.
"That's what you needed?"
"Nope. We have a new kid! A girl, and she beat Steve in an armwrestling match."
"Really?" I ask astonished.
"Well. It's what I heard." Tobes said. We walked to Math and met up with Claire. "Hey, have you guys met the new girl?" She asked us.
"No, but we really wanna." Toby said.
"I know where she is, come on." Claire lead us to a girl with brown hair pulled back into a ponytail. She wore blue jeans and a blue shirt that read 'I'm not lazy, I just enjoy doing nothing.' She was sitting on a bench texting. She heard us coming and looked up.
"Hi Claire." She greeted. When she looked up, something in my mind clicked. I've seen that face before! But where? I think to myself. "Who are your friends?" She asked. "This is Jim, and Toby." She introduced us. "Guys this is Evna."
"Hi Evna." I said politely.
"How are ya?" Toby said nonchalantly.
She smiled. "I'm good, and you?"
"Fine, fine." He responded. The the minute bell rang. "Hey, you know where you're going?"
"Nope." She said confidently. Claire looked at her sheet.
"German? That's right across from us. Come on, we have to hurry." We all raced down the hallway. Then we walked into Math and she went into the room across. "Hey, did she look familiar to anyone?" I asked Tobes and Claire.
"Nope." Toby said.
"No, you probably saw her in the park or something." Claire said. I thought really hard. I sighed, opened my book and did the math assignment.
