Patrick sighed and sat down on his bed. Andy had gone to the gym with the other people, which was basically a mostly bare room with basketball hoops. Not that Andy was tall enough.

The blonde laid back on his bed, tears stinging his eyes. Just breathe.

He hated this place, in all honesty. It felt so fucking eerie, and everyone around him wasn't themselves; they were drugged up and held secrets that a normal person would turn away by just knowing. Not that they didn't have a right to.

Any regular person would say, sure, they had felt depression before. But the moment you tell them you've tried to commit suicide, they think it's some kind of game. They tell you they're sorry, but they're really just thinking that you were attempting to manipulate them or get your way. But that isn't the case. Sometimes you just need to... tell someone. Let it all out.

Life is short. People will come and go and you'll be left to stand alone, whether you like it or not. No matter how hard you try to hold onto someone. They'll slip away.

"Knock knock."

Patrick shot up and looked over at Andy, who was drenched in sweat. He sighed.

"Hey..."

The older man smiled and then took off his soaked shirt, tossing it to the side. He looked at himself in the mirror and then splashed water on his face. Patrick laid back down.

"You're quiet," Andy commented. "That's new."

"Shut up," Patrick mumbled in response, rubbing his face. He needed to shave.

Andy frowned. "What's up, buttercup?"

"First of all, never say that again. Secondly... I'm just thinking."

"About what?" Andy asked, sitting across from Patrick. He looked concerned.

"What if life is never the same when I get out of this place? What if all my friends- my family... just turn away? What if-"

Andy kissed Patrick's forehead despite the fact that no one was allowed to even touch each other in the hospital. The younger blushed.

"If they turn away, you'll have me."

He then went to shower.
