I literally barged my way through everyone in sight, angrily walking to Luke's. I was beyond pissed.

When I got to Luke's cell just stood there watching him lying on his black on the bed, staring up to the ceiling, his thumbs fiddling with each other on his stomach, blinking very slowly. I could see little red blood spots splattered up the right side of his head.

"Luke," I spoke sternly.

His head leaned up, as soon as he looked at me, that damned smirk came back, "Oh hello, Scarlet."

"Wh...Why? Why did you do that?" I said, my eyes welling up with tears.

Tommy was a student, a couple of months away from graduating Uni, now he's died on his first day of volunteering for his resume. He was 17, and a nice boy. I liked him. We all did, ever since after his interview, he was just so kind, like God made a special person.

"And that note? What the hell is that all about?" I snapped.

"People need to learn not to bother property of mine, I thought the letter was pretty cute.." He smirked, "don't ya think?"

"Cute?" I spat in disgust. "That is far from cute Luke, and since when have I been property to you, I'm not an object" My hands balled into fists at my sides.

"Since the moment I laid eyes on you at the beach baby," I stood up off his bed and stood in front of me, the only thing separating us was the bars off the gate. "you are mine, Scar."

"It's Nurse Rose" I yelled. Bringing us both to a surprise. "What the hell Luke? You have blood stains all over you?" I panicked, "someones gonna see it and, God knows what will happen to you" I sighed.

"Well go get me a wet wipe or something," he shrugged.

"I'm not helping you, you.. you fucking psychopath!" I yelled, stepping away from him at my choice of words.

Now, that was probably the worst thing to say to a psychotic patient. Luke's eyes turned a darker colour, his body shook uncontrollably as his breathing picked up immensely.

"I'm not a fucking psychopath!" He screamed, so loud a few gasps were heard from the other cells. "How fucking dare you! Just you wait Scarlet, just you fucking wait until I get out of here" he laughed insanely, his hands gripped the bars and started ramming and shaking them as he was trying to get out.

My eyes were wide at the scene I was taking in, he was kicking, punching, screaming verbal abuse at me. I was glad he was in a cell, otherwise I'd be dead right now. Neck veins were bulging out as his face became red with anger, his huge combat boots kicking the bed and simply destroying everything in sight. Sweat was covering his face as his slight curls stuck to his forehead. My heart was racing and I was nearly crying.

And just as I was about to run off, the fucking power switches out, leaving the whole place pitch black, only the sound of mumbles from patients and a few stumbling noises.

"You've got to be kidding me," I whispered, wiping the fallen tears that rolled down my cheeks. I heard the sound of a screeching sound of gates opening, meaning patients are out. Fuck.

I even heard Luke's low chuckle near by, he was one of the patients out.

I walked about, my panicky breath only the sound I was now hearing, my arms were stretched out so I could feel my way through the darkness.

There was one corridor lighten up, so I sprinted my way down there, I was sobbing into the air as I ran, I had never been this scared in my life, even after pissing Luke off extremely.

It was literally like a scene in a horror movie. I was running down the light hallway, the lights above me where turning off, one by one as I ran underneath one. At the end of this corridor was a fire exit where I could go down stairs and that'd take me outside to the front of the asylum, into the car parks.

When I reached outside, I was breathing heavily, the whole building was pitch black inside, there was crowds and groups of nurses and doctors, guards with patients handcuffed. Not all of them though.

I walked up to James who was standing with Tina, who looked a bit flushed.

"You ok Tina?" I asked.

"I just.. the patients are so, so violent, I just can't... can't believe it" she stuttered, I left her alone, not wanting to bother her more because of the state she is in.

"Attention everyone! Can I have your attention?" Dr Cartridge announced through a cone, to make his voice louder.

"Minor, but dangerous, problem at the moment, we have a technician sent out as soon as possible, but since it's dark and late already with patients wandering about trying to escape, had made the situation ten times worse. I need you all to stay calm, and if you see any patients wandering unaccompanied, please get a hold of them or tell someone."

Dr Cartridge went and walked away, talking to some other nurses. I took out my phone to check the time, I had 10 minutes left of my shift, so I decided to go home early. Leaving my bag with extra clothes in there because, who the fuck would go in there anyway?

After driving home and walking up the apartment stairs, I entered quietly, forgetting that Daniel had a 'little' gathering the night before, and of course, he hasn't bothered to clean it up.

"Daniel," I groaned aloud, his head peaked out from his room.

"Scar, I have a chick in here, get the hell out," he whisper/yelled.

"Excuse me, this is my apartment too you know" I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

He rolled his eyes, "fine, stay in the kitchen and do not blame me for the noises that are about to occur in the next few seconds," he smirked.

"Ok I'm out of here, wait till I get changed though" I said and he nodded.

I walked to my room, opening my wardrobe and pulling out my red Adidas jumper with black leggings and slipping on my sand coloured UGG boots and walking out the door. I didn't want to hear them doing it.

When I got into my car I had an uneasy feeling, like being stared at or something, but I shrugged it off and turned the ignition on, reversing out of the spot and drove to McDonald's.

"Hi, can I have a coffee with milk and sugar please?" I smiled at the cashier.

"Sure, is that all?"

"Yeah,"

"That'll be one fifty please" She smiled as I handed her over the money.

I waited about five minutes before my coffee was ready and I walked over to a booth, where I sat my coffee down on the table and pulled out my phone, scrolling though the typical media sites and texting people who I 'forgot' too.

I must of spent half an hour there before I decided that Daniel would, hopefully, be finished. Grabbing my empty coffee cup and throwing it in the bin before walking out of McDonald's, I pulled out a packet of chewing gum and popped one into my mouth,

"You better have gum or something, your breath will stink"
