"Are you guys ready yet? Auntie Tina is expecting us any moment now so I would like to leave!" yelled the young brunette. Shouts were heard before three bodies came barreling down the stairs. The taller, older body of the brunette's husband, Newt, was seen soon after the children untangled themselves.
"Mummy! Mummy! We're all here now! Can we go see Auntie Tina, Auntie Queenie and Uncle Jacob now?" asked the youngest and only girl of the trio.
"Now Lizzy, does your father look ready to you?"
The three looked over at their father, taking in his yellow and black pajamas and disheveled hair. They ran over to him, attempting to push him back up the stairs.
"Kids! Kids! Stop pushing your father around," said the brunette. They stopped pushing him and tuned to face their mother.
"But Mummy, if we don't he won't get ready," said the eldest.
"Thomas, you've attended Hogwarts for two years now. And you two know about magic. Why should your father go upstairs to get his clothes when he has magic?" Hearing the not so subtle suggestion, Newt pulled out his wand and summoned his usual clothes from their room upstairs. Not ten minutes later, the family of five was holding hands, ready to leave their hotel room. They felt the familiar tugging of apparating before landing in the middle of Tina's New York home.
They were met with hugs and kisses from the family, the kids soaking up the attention of being the only kids present. Hours were spent laughing and telling stories of things that had happened over the past months. They were in the middle of dinner when Queenie's head shot up and looked at Elisandra, the mother of the only children in the room. A smile was slowly taking over her face, threatening to tear it in half as she stared at her friend.
"Queenie, what is it?" Tina asked. Elisandra stared back at Queenie, shaking her head at she wondered why she thought she could keep her secret from Queenie of all people.
"Eli here has something she has to tell Newt. Why don't we leave them alone for a while, shall we?" her tone airy as usual but leaving no room for arguments as she dragged Jacob out of the room, Tina and the kids leaving soon after. Newt looked up from his bowtruckle Pickett to stare at his wife.
"W-what was she talking about, Eli?" he asked, very confused as to why everyone had left. Eli looked down, biting her lip.
"Well Newt, um..." she set her napkin down, fumbling with her fingers. "Well, um... you know how I've been feeling horrid in the mornings?"
"Yes actually, I-I have n-noticed that. Is everything alright?"
"Newt, how would you feel about having another daughter?"
