IAN
We ended up ordering pizza after she cleaned up my wounds from last night and took care of my hand which I burned earlier today. I could see a certain softness in her eyes as she did, regret maybe. We ate it with the salad Liv managed to make. For the first time in my life, I wished that I could actually make something eatable and impressive.
Olivia used to make fun of me when I couldn't even manage to make pancakes in the past. I can make them now - even if I happen to burn a few - but I didn't used to. She always laughed at me.
Today however, I didn't want to make her laugh. I wanted to impress her but ended up failing.
Or so I thought...
Hearing her laugh at me like she used to was priceless. My heart fluttered like it used to do when I heard it and when I saw her smile so brightly.
And now we're resting on my couch flipping through the channels to find something to watch. "Hey!" She cried out annoyed. "Keep flipping, why are you stopping?"
"Why? You don't want to watch Formula One?"
She turned to look at me with a hard glare and a smirk immediately formed on my face. I guess she still hates everything that has to do with cars. "No, I don't. I hate it" She informed me.
"Well if you're nice, I might change the channel." I relaxed against the couch while smirking at her playfully.
She huffed out a breath in annoyance as she crossed her arms over her chest. "You're impossible."
She's cute when she's annoyed...
"Fine" I gave in as I saw her sulking - and incredibly cute - face and started to flip through the channels again.
"Oh, hey stop!" She shouted quickly as she pounced at me and snatch the remote before flipping back to the previous channel. "A movie is starting" She smiled before turning her head to the side and faced me.
Her lips was so close that if I moved an inch forward, I would be able to kiss her pink lips. I could smell the perfume she was wearing, it was so alluring that I wanted to bring her closer to me. And that's when she's already so close that I can feel her breast against my body and her heart beating against my chest.
Those beautiful eyes of hers was fixated on mine and her body turned frozen as we gazed at each other with a certain softness in our eyes.
... Love maybe.
Her eyes then widened when she realized she was laying on top of me and quickly moved backwards to her original place. "Sorry" she murmured quiet - reminding me of a lost puppy who did something bad, her eyes so big and sad - her hand dropping the remote in my lap and I picked it up in mine.
"You want to watch the movie?"
She shrugged. "It's better than... Well, cars"
The opening started and my eyes widened when I saw witch movie it was. Australia. We watched it the same day as we told each other we love one another.
My heart clenched in pain.
I wish that I could hold her again like that day. I wish that I could kiss her again like that day. I wish that I could tell her how much I love her like that day.
I glanced at Olivia who was now focused on the movie.
I wonder if she'll ever remember.
Not even halfway through the movie, Olivia started to look extremely uncomfortable as she shifted in her seat. I glanced at her, noticing how it looks like she's in pain. "I'm going to bed..." She informed me with a quiet voice, almost like she wasn't able to speak louder.
