Vik x Reader

I stand in the doorway of the living room, looking at the scene in front of me with a small smile on my face. I watch as the love of my life throws her head back, laughing at something JJ said. Her laugh is my favorite thing about her, even though she says she hates it. It's always so bubbly and full of life. And when she laughs, her E/C eyes light up and I find myself getting lost in her. Not to mention her smile is breathtaking.

She turns her head and her eyes meet mine. She smiles and I can feel my heart skip a beat. She mouths the words 'I love you' and I mold my hands into a heart and wink at her, causing her to let out a cute breathy laugh, and in that moment I know I am making the right choice. I reach into my back pocket, allowing my fingers to play with the little square box. I've been with Y/N for 2 years now, and I'm ready to take it to the next level. I just hope she is, too.

I cross the room and sit next to her. She cuddles up into my side and I slide my arm around her shoulder. She leans up and quickly pecks me on the cheek. In retaliation I lean in closer and kiss her neck, then pull away a little to kiss her forehead. I then whisper in her ear, "Come with me, I've got something I wanna talk to you about."

I stand up and offer her my hand. She looks at me in question but takes my hand anyway and I pull her up. I lead her to the back door and open it for her, revealing what I had been working on for about an hour. She looks around the back garden, taking in the fairy lights that I had hung everywhere. I watch her, biting my lip as I wait for her reaction. She looks at me, her beautiful E/C eyes shining with the reflection of the fairy lights.

I give her a nervous smile and she shakes her head a little. "What's all this for?" she asks, grinning. I run my hand through my hair and then take her hand in mine again, pulling her into the middle of the yard. I take both her hands in mine and look into her eyes, noticing the curious look she's giving me.

"I wanted to tell you something, and I wanted it to be special, but I know you're not really one for surprises, so I decided to do something small, but still awesome," I explain. She grins. "It's beautiful. What is it that you wanted to talk about?" she questions. I search her eyes, though I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. All I find is what has been there since the beginning, love and happiness. I take a deep breath. Now or never I guess.

"I love you. I am so in love with you. Right from the very start, you caught my eye. And soon after that you stole my heart. I wasn't even looking for love, but there's just something about you that drives me crazy." She started to blush and looked down to hide it. I let go of one of her hands and gently caress her cheek, causing her to look back up and I smile at her lovingly. "Don't hide, you're beautiful," I tell her.

"Whenever you need me, I'll be there. Even if I'm not anywhere near you, I'll come running. Every day I'll stand by you, loving you in every way I can. You are so beautiful, I can't even fathom. You're a freaking work of art. I just want to get closer to you. And I feel the only way to get closer is to take the next step in our relationship." She looks at me and tilts her head in a questioning way. "Next step?"

I take a deep breath and glance over to the door where the rest of the Sidemen are watching. Simon nods and gives a reassuring smile. I look back at Y/N and see she also looked to the door. She turns back to me looking very confused. "Vik what is going on?" I give her a nervous smile and slowly go down on one knee. I see the recognition flash across her eyes as she gasps.

I reach behind me and pull the box out of my back pocket. I open it, showing off the ring resting inside. "Y/N, you are the love of my life. Will you marry me?
