You're So Beautiful

This one-shot will be entirely from Tobi's POV

Note: Set during the 2nd Sidemen Charity Match. I know the Sidemen don't score, but just pretend please

Tobi x Vik

As I finish tugging up my sock, having just adjusted my shinguard, it's time for us to go out onto the field. I look next to me where Vik is sat and smile. I glance around to see if anyone is watching, then quickly lean in and kiss his cheek. He beams at me and gives my hand a squeeze before we both stand up and join the others.

As we exit the tunnel, the crowd goes crazy, and I grin. I can't believe we sold out the whole stadium. Not only that, but we also got a lot of donations, forcing me to dye my hair pink. Vik really likes it, though, so I suppose it's not all bad. We line up next to the YouTube AllStars, then soon we're shaking hands. Or in Caspar Lee's case, giving out hugs and a couple kisses.

Soon the game starts and we try our hardest to score a goal. Unfortunately for us, we decided to make Hughwizzy the goalie for the YouTube AllStars. Then they managed to score a goal fairly quickly. The game dragged on and you can tell everyone was getting a bit frustrated, seeing as no one has scored a goal in ages. Then the crowd starts chanting "We Want Vik" and I glance over at said person. We lock eyes briefly and he grins and points to his ear, then to the crowd, as if to say, "do you hear them? They're calling for me!" I wink back at him then turn my head back to Simon as he throws the ball in. If I wasn't so focused I would've laughed as I watched his arms flap afterwards.

The ball heads straight for KSI, which apparently now stands for Knowledge, Strength, and Integrity, and he headbutts it towards the goal but Hughwizzy blocks it, but he doesn't catch it and I swiftly rush forward and kick it, and it goes flying into the goal. The crowd goes absolutely insane and I quietly turn my head, trying to find Vik. I see him running towards me and he launches himself at me in a congratulatory hug. We pull away and look at each other and I can tell he wants to kiss me, but I hesitate.

Realization floods in his eyes and a hurt look flashes across his face and he lets go. I go to grab his hand, but now the rest of the team has reached me and Vik is kinda shoved back while I am awarded with pats on the back and shouts of excitement. But it all goes in one ear and out the other as I watch Vik turn away and begin to walk off the field. My face contorts as it pains me to see that I caused this.

I look at the smiling, sweaty faces around me and lock eyes with Josh. I glance at the crowd, then to Vik, then back to Josh again. He seems to understand what's going through my head and gives me an encouraging smile, and that's all I need to make up my mind. I whip my head around to Vik and shout his name, but he doesn't seem to hear me. However, now I'm determined.

I push my way through the team and rush towards Vik. Once I reach him I grab his arm and tug him towards me. A brief look of confusion flashes across his features but before he can say anything I press my lips against his. A silence washes over the whole stadium for half a second before the crowd screams even louder. It is now that Vik responds and he gently pulls his arm from my grip, wrapping both his arms around my neck to pull me closer, deepening the kiss.

Right after I pull away, Manny grabs me by the arms, pulling me back onto the field to continue the game. I glance at the stadium clock and realize that what felt like a long time was really only 2 minutes. The game continues, and the YouTube AllStars score one last goal, thus ending the game with a score of 1[SDMN] - 2[YTAS].

Vik comes up to me in the locker room after we leave the field and asks why I chose now to go public. The tone of his voice makes it seem as though he's kinda mad at me, but as I see the corners of his mouth turned up and a gleam in his eye, I know he's not mad in the slightest. I rest my hand against his cheek and gaze at him.

"You're so beautiful, and I don't care who knows."
