The year is 3102 in a cave located in Northern Scotland two Archeologists had discovered some ancient writing and were trying to decipher the text when suddenly a chamber door opened. Inside lay a gilded oak coffin, inside of which lay a boy wearing leather pants, a cotton shirt, fur boots and clutched in his hands was an old parchment.
"Definitely a vampire" said the male Archeologist
The male Professor read it aloud.
Here lies Marshall
Golden are his eyes
a window for his
heart temporarily-
The Doctor named Malcolm blew off what he thought was dust from the paper.
Asleep, awaken now
from your dormant slumber
Nothing happened and then the boys eyes shot open and the Doctors coward as he jumped from the coffin pulling on a leather vest.
He then ushered his guests forward, they hesitated.
"I'll not harm you" he said "My name is Marshall- what years is this?"
Marshall rubbed Doctor Malcolm's shirt between his fingers the fabric was strange.
"3102" replied Doctor Malcolm
"1,671 years" muttered Marshall
"Wait" said the other Doctor named Camilla "You said your name is Marshall?"
"Yes" Marshall replied confused
"Malcolm...It's him"she said
"Marshall you can't live in this cave forever" said Doctor Malcolm
"Where else can I go?" asked Marshall
"You can come live with us" burst out Camilla
"I wouldn't want to impose on you" said Marshall
"No our other children have always wanted a big brother" said Doctor Malcolm
Marshall thought about it and agreed to go with them.
3 Hour Later
After they convinced Marshall that their truck wouldn't hurt him they were pulling into the drive way of Doctor Malcolm and Doctor Camilla's house.
When they arrived three people rushed towards the garage door, two girls and a boy.
"I thought you said children" said Marshall getting out of the car.
"Sorry but compared to you they are children"said Doctor Camilla
"The tall girl is Miracle she was found in Dublin Ireland, the short girl's name is Regina found her in a tomb in Vienna Austria their both 250 years old" said Doctor Malcolm
"And the boy is Sawyer found him in Granby Canada he's just under a year old" said Doctor Camilla
Even though they were feet from him Doctor Malcolm said:
"Everybody come meet your new brother"
The kids lined up and waited for Marshall. Marshall approached them and they hugged him, he felt like his dead heart was beating again.
"How old are you?" asked Regina
"Um" replied Marshall
"Ignore her- She's like that" said Sawyer
"No...It's fine" he said turning to Regina "I'm almost 1700 years old" said Marshall
"Wow" she breathed Marshall grinned
"Come on in Marshall" said Doctor Malcolm
Marshall looked at the house it was beautiful, red brick walls with slate shingles on the roof. The door was mahogany with a stain glass rose window and to old fashion lamp sconces. The inside was huge, it opened into a huge guest room with a balcony, a TV, a fire place, two big couches, and a desk.
The next room was the kitchen two islands and a full set of pots and pans hung from the ceiling. A full set of kitchen knives were arranged on a block on the counter.
The counters were made of solid white granite.
"Amazing" breathed Marshall running his hand over the induction stove.
"It's yours!" said Doctor Camilla
"What!?" exclaimed Marshall
"Vampire's have an insatiable appetite so we give you all the things you need to satisfy that hunger" said Doctor Malcolm entering from the other room
"Hey!- Want to see your new room?" asked Sawyer
"Yeah sure" He replied pulling his eyes away from the kitchen
As the group led Marshall up the stairs Marshall felt amazingly happy to have people who cared about him.
"This is it- Now its not much but tomorrow we'll go shopping and get what you like alright" explained Doctor Camilla
"Thank you" replied Marshall as he stepped into his new room
It had been primed white and a futon was standing in for a bed.
"It's nice" said Marshall
He ran to the window and through up the sash. He gazed at the stars above but it was the glow of the horizon that took his fancy.
"Their called L.E.D's it's standard they light everything, the horizon glows because that's a city" explained Regina reading his face
"Its beautiful" said Marshall
"We'll leave you to get comfortable" said Doctor Malcolm
"If we don't see you again tonight, Good night and see you in the morning" said Doctor Camilla kissing his cheek
