Malik returned an hour later with the dungeon key. He silently unlocked the door. Miracle stepped from the cell glancing at Malik before leaving through the door.

Meanwhile Sawyer stood vigilant over Kovu. Marshall entered the house they were using to hold Kovu.

“Sorry but-” he was cut off

“What did I ask you?” said Marshall

Sawyer walked up to Marshall and whispered the answer. Kovu stood mystified as Marshall and Sawyer exchanged the code. They then returned to the cage storing Kovu.

“Time to see how well your master can listen” he said entering the cage

“You won't get away with it” Kovu said

“I don't intend to” said Marshall icily

Malik and Miracle entered the inner courtyard. Malik feared the worst.

“Stop” came a voice

“Kovu?” asked Malik

Kovu emerged from the shadows.

“He wants us to meet halfway” said Kovu

Miracle looked back at Malik, who nodded. Marshall waited in the shadows, until Kovu and Miracle stood on opposite sides of the stone. He stepped from the shadows .

“Miracle, who did I make a blood oath with?”

“How should I know” she answered

Marshall clicked his tongue and disappeared, leaving Kovu, Miracle and Malik stood glancing at each other. Kovu and Malik stood not daring to move.

“Nice try Alanwee” echoed Marshall's voice

Another Miracle appeared out of no where standing atop the stone with Marshall next to her.

“But you'll have to do better then that” he said

He turned to face the Miracle that had just appeared.

“Who did I make a blood oath with?”

“The Leaders of the werewolf factions” she said

He turned towards Malik who was completely in fear.

“I don't blame you, Alanwee has been playing mind games with us all” explained Marshall

“I don't...don't understand” said Malik

Marshall turned to Kovu who cast his eyes up to meet Marshall's.

“Even you Kovu...or should I say Uvok”

“Stop it don't you dare!” blurted the Miracle opposite Kovu

Suddenly Miracle opposite Kovu turned into Alanwee. Which made Marshall smile.

“Allow me to explain” he said

He told them how Alanwee was the one who forced Malik to bite Miracle, and how she forced Malik and Kovu to become a Blood Thirst.

“Case in point Uvok, did you feel funny when we entered the courtyard?”

“Yeah” he replied

Kovu shuddered and fell to his knees.

“I don't think it will work on him” Marshall cooed “Uvok I end your curse and set you free”

The red eye's a trademark of a Blood Thirst vampire faded. Uvok rose his jungle green eyes gleamed with renewed vigor.

“How dare you” he screamed at Alanwee

“Kilam” began Marshall pivoting to meet Malik's eye

“Yes” he replied stepping forward

“Do you regret biting Miracle?” Marshall asked

“No please I'll die without them!” blurted Alanwee

“No you won't because as we stand here the runners you made Kilam order Uvok to send to your allies are already on the way back.

“Kilam, Uvok if you wish to change sides you know how to reach me” said Marshall extending his hand towards Miracle, who tool it and wrap her other around his waist.

“Oh...and before I forget Kilam, I set you free”

Kilam unlike Uvok rose into the air his red eyes melted into piercing magenta.

“We're coming with you” Uvok said

“Please I beg you I'll do anything” pleaded Alanwee

“I know but don't forget you have Fransway” retorted Kilam

The Celtic circle appeared and they were gone. As the sun began to rise Alanwee's anger grew. She rose to her knees.

“Alright you bastard if that's how you want to play – that's how we'll play”she sneered

She disappeared just as snow began to fall. Arthur appeared a somber looked on his ghostly face.

“Oh Guinevere I hope he doesn't have to break my heart to save yours” he said

He too disappeared leaving the stone glowing and snow silently starting to fall.
