A Date For Battle

Alanwee and Fransway arrived back just as the fifteen best soldiers arrived. Each of them escorted 100 men.

“Ha, Ha, Ha” she laughed “1500 against 31”

“We'll be victorious” mused Fransway

“Yes my pet we will” she said

AS the months passed Marshall learned how to use his adaptive powers like a sponge. He found out that he could call upon the powers of the Dragonite's, so every day Rinejack and Excalibur would teach him how to fly and breath fire. Queen Claire taught him how to commune with animals. Collet taught Marshall how to use his Harmonic ability and turn it to a screech powerful enough to kill anything but vampires. Iliana and Sap teamed up to teach him how to fight with brains as well as steel. Sir and the Sprites would teach him how to fight blind.

One fay two years later Sap, Iliana, Sir, Collet, Queen Claire, The Sprites, Rinejack and Excalibur sent Marshall off to find six blue flowers. When he was out of ear shot they got down to business.

“I think he's ready” said Sap

“I agree” said Excalibur

“Call him back” said Queen Claire

“Why?” asked Rinejack

“It's winter all the-”

“Got them!” exclaimed Marshall holding a boutique of blue flowers

“Good job, your ready to go home” said Sir

Sawyer knocked on the door of Marshall's house.

“Come in Sawyer” called Morgana

“Morn- ing” stumbled Sawyer as he gazed into the all to familiar eyes of...

“Marshall” he said sitting “When did- Where did you...”

“When- Last night, Where- The woods” Marshall answered

Penelope and Miracle came in laughing.

“Oh my god baby, I missed you” said Penelope's

“Hey” said Marshall jumping up to hug them

Across the woods Alanwee and Fransway were training when Fransway stopped.

“What is it?” asked Alanwee

He closed his eyes.

“Our favorite little enemy is back and quite strong” he replied

Alanwee stormed out of the court.

“Gather the soldiers – we're going to war” she said

“Where's Katherine?” Marshall asked

Everyone stopped and looked at one another.

“Oh no...When did it happen?” he asked

“About six months ago” Miracle replied “It was very sudden”

They walked a little while till Marshall stopped. He looked over his shoulder, at a corner of one of the houses. A boy stood his hair was short and his clothes were ragged.

“Guys go on ahead, I'll catch up” said Marshall

When they were gone Marshall ran to the boy.
