Sage was heading home. To Cassian and Jyn. Luke, Han and Leia. And Bodhi.

For seven months now, Sage's family had been Jekwe and BB-8. She couldn't help but feel sad to have to give BB-8 back to the mechanic she got the droid from. Something felt weird to her, out of place. Like she was going to get to Hoth and something was going to be different, wrong.

She exited out of hyperspace, her ship making a few mechanical noises, noises that told her that her ship was out of shape after seven months. She was in Hoth's system, approaching the snow-white planet. It was a beautiful, yet cold, sight to her.

She could feel the cold creep into her ship as she flew to the surface. The ice base that was built into a mountain covered in snow awaited her arrival. Before she could get there, though, a rebel came through the com-system.

"Unidentified ship, you are trespassing, please identify yourself," the man spoke.

Sage began sending her ship's access codes before she pressed the button and replied back, "This is shuttle B-5764, requesting permission to land in the main hangar."

It took a moment of her ship flying steadily in the air, very slowly towards the main gate of the ship, "Shuttle B-5764—" he paused for a moment, the com-system skipping out, "—you have permission to land in area 4 of the main hangar, prepare to be boarded upon arrival."

This brought back memories from Scarif for Sage. Haunting memories that she had been trying to forget. She took a deep breath as she very carefully pulled into the main hangar, one man guiding her with flashing lights. The familiar look of rebels scurrying around the hangar made her smile. She watched as a group of soldiers got ready at the ramp of her ship.

She opened it, holding her hand out to BB-8 to tell him to wait for a moment. The ramp opened slowly and Sage was welcomed with multiple blasters being pointed directly at her, Cassian and General Draven standing in the middle.

Sage walked out, her hands in the air in a slightly sarcastic fashion. Cassian's lips parted and General Draven had a look of shock on his face. "Put your blasters down!" Cassian said quickly, angrily, at the men.

The soldiers hesitantly, yet quickly, put their blasters down and stepped into a more casual position. Sage smiled, lowering her hands. Cassian was quick to run forward and wrap his arms around her, Sage meeting him halfway.

Cassian treated and protected her like she was his little sister, he couldn't bear the fact that he just had weapons pointing at his little sister. He was quick to notice her battered and blood splattered clothes when they let go of each other, his expression becoming that of concern.

"Where have you been?" Cassian asked, keeping his voice down. The soldiers had dispersed yet General Draven stood there, watching her. Cassian bombarded her with questions, "Are you okay? Why'd you leave? Who's blood is that?"

Sage ignored most the questions, only answering the last one, "Mine, I'll explain later. I just want a shower."

Cassian agreed with her taking a shower, she smelt disgusting, though he was trying to ignore it. Cassian studied her for a moment, taking in her appearance and the small smile on her face. He then nodded approvingly, "I'll take you to your room, but you should know—"

"Ms. Kenobi," General Draven began as BB-8 rolled down the ramp, startling Cassian and Draven. "Where have you—"

"Nevermind that," Sage said, not feeling like answering the question, "will you please make sure that BB-8 gets back to his rightful owner?"
